God, I wish they would. The old WWII shooters were some of my favorite games on PS2 when I was a teenager. I still fondly remember the old Medal of Honor games. I'd love a return to that era, especially considering the technological advancements. D-Day played out on a modern console? Take my money now.

Dead? Hardly. A dead console would be the Wii U. The One is doing fantastic in comparison, it's simply not selling as well as the PS4. Personally, I already have a PS4 and now that the price has dropped and they are offering some pretty good deals I'm considering picking one up myself.

Personally, I hope it's just a slim model. The last thing we need is Microsoft jumping on this 'mid-generation' upgrade bandwagon. The current consoles haven't even been out three years yet. This sort of crap is ridiculous. We didn't start seeing the best stuff from the PS3 and 360 for many years into the cycle. Optimization has always been the name of the game in console gaming. This would toss all that out the window.

In terms of combat, I liked Dark Souls 3 more. It's borrowed some cues from Bloodborne, but is more varied. Though, I preferred the story and lore of Bloodborne. The endings of Dark Souls 3 are kinda meh.

Well, according to IGN, it was about 15 hours long soooo yeah.

...So, Gears was one of my favorites on the 360, so I might finally pay out for an Xbox One.

I've thought about picking up an X1 for Halo and Gears of War. This game? Not so much. I hated the Order, and this game takes it's biggest mistake and makes it worse. Well over an hour of live action scenes in a game that is only 8 hours long to begin with? That's not even taking into account the normal cut scenes. If I wanted a 'cinematic experience' I'd watch a movie.

Vince is terrible. He took the Division to task over its empty open world, meanwhile, he couldn't shut up about MGS5's world, which was far, far worse, and gave the game a ridiculously high score.

For $60, I've already gotten my money's worth out of the game. If incursions do for the Division what VOG did for Vanilla Destiny, it'll be all well and good. If not, I'm still satisfied with the money I spent. Still on the fence about the season pass, and I'll wait till the first few bits of free content drop before I throw any more cash at Ubi.

The average on Metacritic is 82. Even Gamespot gave it an 8.

Yeah...I can't say I care. This guy says the Division's open world is 'barren and unengaging', but he apparently couldn't get enough of MGS5, which was far emptier and much more boring, and whose side missions and gameplay were just as repetitive, if not more so.

That's not exactly accurate. Only the first 6 chapters out of 28 are shared between the two, and each version has 8 unique paralogues, with an additional six that are shared between them. Each version also has a different plot with an almost entirely different cast of characters. The mechanics also differ between each version. Birthright is more akin to Awakening with straightforward battles, whereas Conquest takes from older Fire Emblem games and requires you to complete different object...

Yeah...I doubt it. One, this game has been out for nearly a year in Japan, and it's done well critically and commercially. Two, some of the changes make it more casual, but the hardcore players have Conquest for a reason. Three, this is the first 3DS I'll have bought in months. There is no competition.

Probably MGS5. MGS3 was my favorite game on the PS2, and after missing out on MGS4 I was really looking forward to playing the series again. But it was ultimately a massive disappointment. The world was large, but overwhelmingly dull and empty, and the story was...lacking, to say the least.

MGS for GOTY? Not a chance. It's map is effectively an empty, repetitive wasteland and it's one of the most boring open worlds I've ever seen. The story is far worse than any of the previous MGS games by a wide margin. While it had some creative and interesting aspects such as adaptable enemies and such, it just wasn't that good in comparison to older MGS titles. MGS3 is still one of the best games ever made, and MGS4 wasn't too shabby either.

It's my GOTY easily. The Witcher is a close second but I didn't care for the story and I'm a sucker for Sci-Fi.

...Yeah, no. I'll be honest, I was expecting a -lot- more from this game in terms of graphics. Out of all the open world games on the PS4/X1, this looks and performs the worst by far.

Is the game fun? Sure. In terms of gameplay, it's great. But the gtaphics are subpar, and the technical issues are ridiculous.

The weapons are actually very good when used the right way. If you've got a full set of raid weapons, you literally never have to stop to reload thanks to Cocoon. This makes a major difference in damage output when it comes to fighting bosses.

Even then, it really depends on your roll since the final perks aren't set. For example, Zaouli's Bane has similar stats to Fatebringer, and can roll Firefly.

...No. It's already been said that the Sleeper Simulant is acquired through a quest line with the Gunsmith.

The raid Exotic is most likely the 'Touch of Malice' that's been mentioned by Luke Smith.

Agreed. MGS3 felt so much more immersive than MGS5, and the story was so much better. There have been very few games that have the sort of emotional depth that MGS3 did.
