Oh please. I'm not a gaming enthusiast because I dislike the Scorpio? I own all three current gen consoles, and I spent most of my time gaming on the 360 last gen. But sure. Whatever. Apparently, you aren't a real gamer if you'd prefer a company to focus on games instead of pumping out what amounts to a new console barely 4 years after the last, and an incredibly expensive one at that.
Not really. I'm not going to throw another $500 to $600 down on another MS console after I just spent $300 on an Xbox One not even a year and a half ago, with only Halo, Gears of War, and ReCore to show for it. Much less another $400 to $500 on a 4K TV to even make it worth while.
If I'm going to throw that kind of money around, I'll just buy a PC.
Honestly, Ubisoft hasn't made a good game since the original Prince of Persia trilogy.
Having played a couple hours of the EA access trial, I can say a few things. The story seems interesting enough. I didn't find the writing to be 'awful'. The dialogue wasn't particularly memorable in the small amount that I played, but it wasn't bad. The characters have potential to be likeable, but I didn't really get to play enough to really have an opinion one way or another.
I don't really get all the hate on the UI, either. I had no proble...
Depends. It's better in some aspects. Nioh has an actual story with characters. DS/BB had better lore though.
Well, we've got another Fire Emblem coming up. I'm hoping for another on top of it, and maybe another Pokemon game, and I'll be satisfied.
Neither appealed to me. I will be picking up Nioh and Horizon, though.
The people won? Trump lost the popular vote. He won through the electoral college, an institution he himself claimed was undemocratic in 2012. It's more accurate to say roughly half the country doesn't like liberalism and globalism.
It is huge. If Trump sticks to his guns, you're going to see more Russian aggression in Eastern Europe than we've seen since the Cold War, along with dramatically increased Russian influence in the Middle East.
An honest question. How does it prove that when the majority of Americans didn't vote for Trump? At best, it proved that the country is incredibly divided on how things should be moving forward.
'Convenience' is subjective. I do all my gaming at home. Why the hell would I need a mobile console? Nintendo is trying to appeal to the mobile gaming crowd who play on phones or tablets. Does that make it 'modern'?
Thank god.I can finally play Reach again.
Or, we can just wait another year or two after that and buy the PS5. I and most people I know aren't buying into this mid-generation crap.
Nope. The disparity between the PS4 and the Pro is not so large that players will be screwed over by poor optimization as they are so similar. People who purchase the Pro will get higher framerates and resolution, but that's it, as that's all the extra power is really good for. Games will be developed for the PS4, and performance will be amped up for the Pro.
The same can't said for the Xbox One and Scorpio. The difference between the two is much larger. My big...
Glad to see that Sony kept those who purchased the original PS4 in mind when they developed the Pro. I don't plan on buying it, so it's good to know that I won't be sentenced to watered down ports. I still have my concerns about the Scorpio when it comes to that issue, but hopefully Microsoft will impose some standards instead of fucking over those of us who bought an Xbox One in the last year or two after they got their priorities in order.
Well. this is disappointing. I was really looking forward to this game since Joe Staten is the main writer and he did fantastic work on Halo. Hopefully they'll patch it up over the next few months, and I can pick it up then.
This article is hilarious. Physical media sales are on the decline, and basic DVDs still sell better than Blu Ray movies. 4k Blu Ray appeals to a very niche market, and we are talking about game consoles. Sony was rightfully grilled when they tried to use the PS3 to push Blu Ray and jacked up the price of what was ultimately a game console. I'm glad they didn't make the same mistake again. And the S is cheaper? Of course it's cheaper. It's the same old Xbox One hardware that...
Personally, MS and Sony both should've waited another 2 years and released an entirely new generation in 2018. But between the two of them, Sony is screwing over their customers less, as the disparity between the PS4 and the Pro is unlikely to lead to poor optimization on either console. The same can't be said for the One and the Scorpio. Either devs will focus on the One, and the all that extra power players paid for in the Scorpio will mostly go to waste, or they'll focus on the...
Who said I stuck to last gen that long? I bought a PS4 early on, and I bought a Switch on launch day. The only thing I waited on was the Xbox One because of the bullshit with the Kinect and the lack of exclusives early on.
