i'm dead serious. i think buster swords are flat out fucking stupid. and i'm not just talking about the FFVII one. the dragon bone smasher from Demon's Souls, the Dabilahro from Ninja Gaiden, etc. not only does it not make sense to use a sword like that, but it's not even cool looking.
bring on the disagrees, idgaf. those swords are idiotic.
that buster blade looks fucking retarded. i still don't understand the fascination with massive, impossible-to-use, dull blades.
buster swords are a joke.
any of the top four would be fine with me. anything but another American city. lol.
wtf. i bought the game but haven't played it yet. i gotta read this to see why they gave it such a low score. it really looks awesome.
Half-Life 2
it's not a horrible idea, it's just an unnecessary one. there are some games that really benefit from co-op, there are other games where it doesn't matter either way, and there are certain games (like God of War) where co-op is just flat out not needed.
lol. you read my mind.
the original 3D Ninja Gaiden had one of the best combat systems ever, with near flawless gameplay. i've always said that regardless of genre, the true test of a game's gameplay is whether or not it stands the test of playing it on the hardest difficulty. some games are cheap on the hardest difficulty, some are boring, some expose exploits, and some are just flat out too difficult in a "the devs are demented" type of way. Ninja Gaiden, however, truly shined on Master Ninja di...
this is a hell of a feature.
my body--err, i mean my GPU is ready. >:o
mfw your bubbles.
it's a damn good wheel. i had it for about a month before selling it (not a huge racing game fan), but for the time i did have it, it worked perfectly and seemed to give a responsive and realistic driving experience.
i'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite wheel in the Citadel.
this, plus the fact that just because 50k people sign a petition, that doesn't mean that 50k people will buy the game. i could call up five non-gamer friends right now and get them to sign it, but that means nothing.
Dino Crisis.
the ultimate fan service game. if you love the MGS franchise, then you'll likely love this game. if you don't love the franchise (or haven't played the games), then you're more likely to see the flaws in the game.
i love the MGS games, and i think this is a great game. not a perfect game, but a perfect ending for Snake.
not only do you have to buy a memory card, but you have to buy each game you want to play on it too. i doubt there are very many people who just walk out of the story having only spent $250.
good choices for GotY and runner up.
i doubt it.
i don't think the price itself is too much, i just think that some games seem too expensive because you're not getting a lot of content. ie MW3 could basically be DLC for MW2, or short games like Heavenly Sword or Vanquish being full $60 titles (inb4 replay them, how about no).
useless post is useless.
