Dota2, DayZ (stand-alone), Star Citizen, Company of Heroes 2, Hawken, Path of Exile, Planetary Annihilation, StarBound, Wasteland 2, Pillars of Eternity, Fortnite, Heroes of the Storm, Broken Age, Dungeon Defenders 2...
Just to name a few of the over 300+ PC exclusives releasing from 2013-2014 that turn up on a single google search. And some of those are AAA quality free to play as well. Seriously, the PC has more exclusives. Never try...
I wouldn't try to measure success with exclusives when the PC has a lot more.
Just play on the system of your choosing. Only an idiot would buy a console thinking it is state of the art and more powerful than the average mid range gaming PC. If you want more power get a PC. If you're fine with lower graphics fidelity and lack of options/uses then get a console.
When you start to see the Xbox1 being subsidized and sold as a cable companies DVR/Set-top box and being basically given away in a year or twos time I think things will change for the Xbox. This has been MS's strategy all along. Saturate the market through other means and for other purposes than gaming but once the system is in your house the chances of you purchasing related products at retail are much higher. I see this as being a "winning" stratgy for MS.

I want a good open-city game from this comic. Or hell even Medieval spawn setting would be cool for that matter.
New Mass Effect game.
I loved this remake. I played it on steam. had more fun with it than I thought it would have been.
I didn't know the games had issues this bad on the xbox. I have these games on the PC and never had an issue. :/
Dark Souls 2 THEN South Park for me. But I am certainly getting this game.
I've been part of so many EA games that have had server trouble on launch day over the past 15 years or so I just assume that if EA's name is on the box there will be trouble day one.
^^ THIS! OpenGL would rule all if it was used as often as DirectX was.
Its coming out for a console. Why is anyone in 2014 surprised by news like this?
I will always happily embrace a higher native resolution. But if it comes at the cost of better lighting, post processing effects, texture resolution, or on screen details then I will be more than happy to take a cut to the native resolution.
Not from what I have played.
So far this is "fun" but I don't see it being competitive enough. The gameplay is solid, the graphics are awesome on PC maxed out for a Source engine game.
The only problem is if you thought CoD was a FPS with training wheels you're going to feel this game is a FPS with you in a stoller that takes no skill at all to play.
The player count really needs to be higher. The bots are just not the same no matter how good/bad the AI is.
Even though they are different games I am guessing most console gamers would be better served the by likelihood of a 'Rust' console port.
I bought dead nation back the day it launched on PSN. I liked the game. But hated the fact I couldn't use VoIP to talk to my buddy in NYC that was playing with me. Quickly lost interest waiting on a patch that supported voice. I am assuming they've added voice by now. Maybe I should revisit it and play.
SEX!!!!!!!!
Exactly. Put a $200 video card in the average quad core PC that has been around for the last 3-4 years and the PC will outperform the PS4 and the Xbox1.
WORST case scenario is you have spend another ~$40 to $75 to upgrade your RAM as well. But at the end of the day you still have a more powerful (and more useful!!!) machine than either current console.
But who buys consoles for the best performance??? Not me. I buy them for the games I can't get on PC! ...
^^ I've heard that several times before. And every time there is a mod. Just takes a little longer than if there was.
Wonder how long before a mod comes along that allows more than 6 players?
Im getting it for PC. Problem solved.
