I got halfway through the game before I quit playing because I am a Dota 2 addict. But I WILL beat a remastered next-gen version if they release it for the PS4.
Pay to win always sucks.
Not mad. Just hate PR talk that makes zero sense or implies laziness on the part of the devs.
I'm with Volkama on this one. I would have put it nicer but still the same end meaning. Obviously "thereapersson" didn't read the article because it states NOTHING of the sort. If anything the recent news of DX12 for Xbox1 there will be less of a gap (though my money is still on PS4 for edging out the competition visually) than was previously expected.
All this article stated, in layman's terms, is that Sony's dev tools for C++ programming are helpf...
This is either a lie or they purposefully gimped the PC version. In either case your game sucks anyway and no one cares.
Poor animations. Average visuals for a PC game (Thief already looks better than that!) and lackluster particle effects.
However the lighting effect were really nice. Overall there was nothing here that couldn't be much more polished and impressive by the time it hits shelves. I'll keep an eye on this one for sure.
And if they had just made a co-op enabled TES game instead they would be making money. Hopefully they've learned their lesson.
Other than a few things like procedural tech (which even indie games have nowadays) they are not doing anything that hasn't been done in his past games.
Its basically all the coolest stuff from his past games and a few new tricks with a very pretty presentation.
So when people say it is ambitious it really isn't as far fetched as or as "ambitious" as people make it out to be.
Don't explain it to me. Explain it to the devs.
Put a "real" man on the show and watch who becomes the favorite character quickly. Not every geek, in fact most I know, are not pencil thin dweebs. Most are also athletic and good with the ladies.
I think we are looking down the nose of a WORLD WIDE dust-bowl that will make the original great depression look like a billionaire's ball. It isn't just Sony and video game makers moving and quitting left and right. Just google search bankers suicide and look at the high number of deaths in the financial market that started happening all of a sudden.
Mark my words. A crap storm of epic proportions is coming our way. And these head honchos and insiders all know it.
I prefer demos before I buy. But there are several games that I loved that never had a public demo that I absolutely loved. The most recent being Dark Souls 2. But then I think of The Witcher 2, Skyrim, or even The Walking Dead adventure game.
Did the most recent GTA have a demo? I never checked. I'm waiting on the next gen or PC version to come before I play it. Whichever one releases first.
Too bad. There were some epic fights and wars in the Bible. Shamgar or Sampson alone could have some really cool God of War style action gameplay in them. Although I doubt all of that blood, gore, sexual intercourse and cheating on your spouse is not what they wanted to add. Even though it is all in the bible. ;)
I've bought a few AC games. But for some reason I lose interest in them and never seem to finish them. I just hate that future part of the games. It kills the whole story for me. I'd rather be playing a part of history and the back and forth parts kills the game for me.
Obviously this is just my opinion because so many people I know love the series and finish them all. The sad part is I intellectually know the games are good. I just can't seem to care no matter h...
A man can dream..
"But first we have to add hardware level spy chips to satisfy the NSA."
You can do it. Just trial and error. When in doubt summon others to help. It is not nearly as hard as people make it out to be.
I just can't see them getting anything right. I used to have faith in Blizzard. But not so much anymore. I'd love for them to surprise me though.
I'd love to send this guy a copy of Mike Tyson's Punch out or a couple of the MegaMan games. He'd slit his wrist while jumping off a bridge. lol
However I will agree with this guy. You HAVE to want a challenge and enjoy a struggle if you are going to like Dark Souls. If you do not please stay away from this game as you will not enjoy it. I personally don't agree with the review score as this is my GOTY so far. But if I didn't like a tougher than average ga...
If you don't go caster of some kind you really are at a disadvantage in this game. Pure melee makes this game so much harder.
