Half Life is the forefather of modern (western) gaming.
When it was first released, it was literally several years ahead of the competition. And then for Valve to repeat the same achievement with Half Life 2.....mind blowing graphics & physics, realistic facial animation, compelling story, fantastic soundtrack, deep well fleshed out characters and so on and so on.
If gaming has a Citizen Kane, then it has to be the Half Life series.
Half Life is the greatest shooter of all time.
It was mind blowing when it first came out, and it still holds up well today.
Hell, when Half Life was released Rockstar games hadn't even been founded!
Half Life & Half Life 2 are the Citizen Kanes of gaming.

they could just sell a make up mirror with an analogue nub sellotaped on, and it would still sell billions.
All they need is a couple of 'celerities' to flaunt their gear....(thinks about the Ant & Dec ads *shudders*)
Nah but in all honesty, at least the games on the 3DS are catering to both the casual and the hardcore.
Snake Eater & Resident Evil 3D are 2 great reasons to buy it...

Both consoles have great lineups for handhelds,
gamers on-the-go are spoilt for choice.

The NGP is an amazing piece of tech, with what is shaping up to be, an incredible set of launch titles.
Uncharted alone nearly makes the NGP a day one buy.

So there is a chance that they may achieve a similar feat in the handheld market with the beaut that is the NGP.

Btw, I'm own both consoles, and my favorite game this gen is Alan Wake.
I'm sorry but KZ3 is at the very minimum a 70%.

My roommate has a pirated copy of the 360 version of Crysis (I get to reap the benefits of his illegal ways by playing pre release games), and from 1st hand experience, it is by far the best looking 360 game around.
It does however not match the graphical quality of the Big Three (U2,GOW3 &KZ3) on PS3, mainly due to the frequent pop-in and the inconsistent framerate.
