Rockstar have had a massive input in the games actual development.
They haven't just been sitting on the sidelines (like most publishers) waiting for the game to be finished, so they can put it into production.
They have to a certain degree, co-developed L.A Noire. The core work was done by Team Bondi (when they were being funded by Sony), but the game has really benefited from Rockstar's expertise in creating a living, breathing world, and a lot the ...
Yeah your right. I loved all the hardcore sex scenes and the over-the-top graphic violence in Rockstars Ping Pong & Midnight Clubs.......

Trust a Dutch site to be reporting this!
I thought it was about a Nationalist Socialist Hawaiian Republic (NSHR) that declares war on Easter Island and Tonga?
Yes, I can't wait for more mediocre gameplay wrapped up in a buggy, poorly scripted mess.
With a name like 'Pedobear', he must be Father of the Year.
Quotes from the article:
"Before we go into the rest of the details, please be aware that these are only rumors. However, it has been reported by members of the forum that the user who has revealed these details also leaked details for E3 2009 that matched up exactly with what was revealed that year"
And this:

I rather enjoyed the 1st Silent Hill film (apart from the muddled final third).
With this news of Carrie-Anne Moss & Malcom McDowell, joining the cast which already includes Sean Bean & Radha Mitchell, and the addition of (hopefully not tacked-on) 3D. This could be a very tasty sequel.
The only thing that has me sceptical is that the producers from the Resident Evil films are attached......
@B1663R:
Have you ever left the US?
I hope you realise that the European gaming market is completely different to the market Stateside. Europeans aren't indoctrinated by the likes of Oprah & excessive product placements. Kinect was released to a reasonably muted success in Europe prior to Christmas. And has been flaunted by Microsoft ever since.
Playstation has always been associated with football (soccer) games in Europe. That association has...
Xbox sells better in the States.
PS3 sells better in Europe & Japan.
Both will sell roughly the same amount over their lifetime.
End of the story.
The Daily Mail are just as bad.
They wrote a 2 page article on one of my mates, because he stupidly got a drunken and disorderly charge.
People are getting mown down everyday in Libya and the Ivory Coast, and they're writing bullshit about a 21-year old.
I don't understand how a six month old article got approved as 'news'.
This was news back in September 2010.
Thats good to know.
Just found out that the game uses a modified Crystal Dynamics (aka the current Tomb Raider) graphics engine.
I don't know whether this is a good or a bad thing.......
Another game using Unreal 3?
Ugghh...
Don't get me wrong, its a good, stable, cross-platform engine.
But I think that all the games that use it have a slightly stale, overly familar feeling.
I love Batman AA and the Mass Effect series for example, but the graphics and the controls systems just have a similarity that I find a bit.......irritating.
Why the hell is Cliff Bleszinski involved in every second article on n4g?
My eyes bleed and my vision goes black and white when I play with the 3D turned on.
Edit: I just visited my GP, turns out it wasn't the 3DS, but a volleyball sized brain tumor.
What?
Claudia Wells was way hotter!
Have you not seen the gameplay videos of L.A Noire?
It looks amazing all round, everything from the graphics & voice acting to the perfectly recreated 1950's L.A and the intriguing gameplay mechanics. That seem to be a mix of a more restrained and refined GTA combined with Heavy Rain's emphasis on investigating and character development.
Rockstar are overseeing the project and have had an active participation in the games development.

Did Alan Wake turn out to be vapourware?
If I remember correctly AW was announced at E3 June 2005, and was eventually released May 2010.
Agent was announced at E3 2009. So going by Alan Wake's demographic, we still have another 3 years before it should be even considered as vapourware.
