Thanks to the PSN hysteria and the sensationalism brewed up by most websites, I missed the info on the free Portal 2 DLC & the New Vegas DLC ( 2 games I own).

Thanks for the article.

'we didn't realise how bad the BBC pay!'

Does Merchant even work with the BBC anymore?
I thought he was now working mostly with Sky 1 (An Idiot abroad), HBO (The Ricky Gervais show), NBC (executive producer The Office) & Xfm (radio show), as well as with film studios (every Gervais movie). And he earns royalties from The (original) Office & Extras re-runs.

I'm pretty sure he's filthy rich!

He probably did P...

I installed both Mass Effect 2 & DS2 to my 360's HDD,
and I still found it annoying the way it still asked for the 2nd disk when I reached certain points, even though it was saved onto the HDD.

Mainly because I was in college enjoying playing Dead Space 2, and then halfway through, it asked for the 2nd disk....which unfortunately I had left at home the previous weekend (after I had installed both disks). I had to wait 3 weeks before I could continue on..... ...

I love the way people diagreed with my post.

Ok then, they can obviously judge my boredom levels better than I can myself.

Maybe they should post their email and phone numbers, so I can consult them on whether I'm enjoying my life experiences from now on?

Red Dead, Alan Wake, Heavy Rain, Mass Effect ect. are all great games first time around.

However I was laid up sick in bed for the past couple of days and I tried starting new games in both Mass Effect 2 & Red Dead to pass the time. And I got bored and turned them off after around an hour of play......

Chamber 16 near the end stumped me near the end.
But I didn't cheat and eventually solved it.

But the rest Portal 2 was pretty easy...

'I am far more educated than most of the people here'

Ha, what a deranged idiot.

He equates that education equals intelligence!
Tell that to Richard Branson & Sir Alan Sugar.

And btw, geniuses don't use 'dude' in their sentences.

A multiplatform Haze 2, if done correctly by Crytek UK (Free Radical) using CryEngine 3 could have some serious potential. The jungle eviroments would really suit Crytek's propriety engine.

The original had a lot of wasted potential like the use of Nectar vision, the ability to play dead & the way your character switches allegiances midway through the game, if it had a COD style multiplayer as well, it could be a great game.

The 360 doesn't come close to the best selling console (including handhelds) of all time,

150 million sold and still counting.

Thats nearly a 100 million sales more than the 360.

I had 2 accounts.
With no credit cards attached.

And even if they do have my PSN password, what the hell are they gonna do? Send me SPAM?

Hopefully now that Crytek has a multiplatform graphics engine they can actually get around to developing Timesplitters 4.

Since Crytek bought the IP from Free Radical, us fans have heard nothing. CryEngine could easily be adapted to cater for Timeplitters cartoony style......

E3 reveal? Watch this space!

Portal 1 felt a bit like an experiment or a a highly polished tech demo by Valve. Portal didn't really recieve many criticisms, apart from the fact it just wasn't long enough.

Portal 2 was a fully fleshed out game, in which Valve's ideas from the original game where properly constituted into the Portal game we all wanted.

I think Uncharted 2 , is a better example of a game in which the developers examined and improved upon every negative criticism...

Hollywood actors & established VG actors can co-exist perfectly.

Just look at how well Nolan North, has fleshed out the character of Nathan Drake. The Uncharted series just wouldn't be the same without him, and the same goes for the casts of RDR & Mass Effect.

And then you look at the Hollywood casting in games such as Portal 2. J.K Simmon's & Stephen Merchant practically became overnight legends in the gaming world (and rightfully so) fo...

To disagreers: A 6 year old handheld that is going to be replaced by it's successor in 6 months is beating the 3DS by 50,000 units in its home territory.

That speaks for itself.

I completed Assassins Creed 2 last year and I loved every minute of it.

I then played AC Brotherhood and got bored after 20 minutes, and I haven't touched it since. It just felt like one big expansion pack.......

The 3DS should be making the most out of its head start over the NGP, but it isn't.

I've got a feeling that the NGP will have a very strong launch line-up, with possibly even Uncharted finished in time....

This handheld gen will be neck & neck. But I'll get both over time, so I don't care who wins!

Am I the only person that enjoyed Black Op's single player campaign?

5519d ago 1 agree6 disagreeView comment

I won't either. But I know people who said that they wouldn't buy Black Ops after MW2. And come end of November last year, most of them had got it.....

Edit: By you saying 'I will', do you mean, I will not be buying it?
I'm confused!
