Edge gave it a 7/10.
Regardless of whether they were disappointed with KZ3 or not, this game has too much quality in its multiplayer, sound and graphics alone to warrant a 7.
Edge has given numerous inferior games similar or better scores than 7.
That isn't proper journalism, it is a magazine that thrives on causing controversy by underscoring games.
I don't understand who is disagreeing with him.
It is clearly the best looking FPS on a CONSOLE.
Crysis 2 is very disappointing graphically on the 360 anyway (and it will probably be a similar story on the PS3 version).
Crysis 2 will look amazing (but only if you can afford to buy or build an expensive gaming PC).
The full power of the marker will be harnessed to allow full access Tom Cruise and John Travolta's bank accounts.
I'm not being some irrational fanboy.
But this is not a 7/10 game.
Good but not great games such as the most recent Wolfenstein or Dark Sector, are 7 out of 10's.
Every reviewer so far has been complimentary of KZ3 awesome graphics, sound and excellent multi-player component.
Those 3 aspects alone would warrant any multiplatform game a score of 8 or higher.
Even Modern Warfare 2, which was by all means a good ...
'Sony, always bringing up the rear'
Hmm you've obviously never heard of the best selling console of all time. Does the PS2 ring any bells?
147 mil sold and still counting.
Zombies?
Thats original.
IGN MW2 Presentation: 9.5
Nuff said.
Probably in or around the 50 mil mark at the moment,
considering this doesn't take Jan into account.
I just watched Pandorum on Blu-ray yesterday,
after hearing really nothing about it.
And it turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
Great setting, high production values, and decent actors. It has so much more in common with Dead Space than Event Horizon had.
Hell the protagonist (Ben Foster) is even an engineer, trying to repair the space ship while also looking for his missing GF, and at every turn he is pursued and must fend off (u...
I think it's appropriate.
God of War 2 was the PS2's swan song,
Ghost of Sparta was the PSP's.
The PSP is a good portable console,
But the NGP is aiming for a Fall/Xmas release.
It is really just around the corner.
My god! How long did it take to write that post?
The only reason I don't play my PSP nymore,
is because I have a 6 year old phat, and its too fat and clunky to be seen playing it on public transport.
I quite like the Go though.
The best multiplatform game in the past 6 months,
has a superior PS3 version.
*turns back on Dead Space Extraction*
Obviously if u clicked into this article, then u were duped by HHG as well.
He also said Amy Adams is a possibility.
Either one is a great choice!
O'Russell has the ability to get the very best out of the limited acting skills of Marky Mark.
He is very good in the Fighter and Three Kings, not to mention the excellent turn he gave in The Departed.
He isn't my No.1 choice, but give the guy a chance.
I have yet to see any smartphone game come close to rivaling Ghost of Sparta, in sheer scale, gameplay or graphics.
And the PSP is a 6 year old device.
Every time a company brings out a new console, it starts out on a fresh slate, regardless of how successful its predecessor was.
For all know the Wii 2, might bankrupt Nintendo or it could be even a bigger success than the first Wii.
Remember when Sega and Atari used to make consoles?
My 4 year old PS3 is still more powerful than my 3 year old desktop and my year old laptop.
Although I wish I had a good rig to play Crysis 2 on top specs...
Damn, I need to get a cheaper hobby!
NGP, by a mile!
If I wanted to play 3D games, I'd play Killzone 3 on my 55" with 5.1. Thats the real 3D experience.
Not a 3 inch sub HD ,fake 3D screen, with crappy sound, clunky controls and last gen visuals.
Bring on Uncharted NGP!
Disappointing doesn't mean bad.
The graphics in Crysis 2 beta are very good.
But they are nowhere near as good, as either the media and Crytek led us on to believe.
Crysis 2 on consoles, graphically isn't that impressive. The PC is where the game will shine.
