Why are people pretending that something as generic as Survive's zombies would ever be welcome in the Metal Gear franchise? Konami is very blatantly cashing in on a brand that it has no idea how to handle. Of course the originator of that brand, a guy Konami unceremoniously fired, would express his distaste.
The Sorrow and the people you killed were ghosts, not zombies. It doesn't look like a huge difference outwardly, but it was an inspired and widely well received alternative take on the shambling dead. The zombies presented in this new Metal Gear feel out of place even when compared to the somewhat similar Skulls. If Kojima ever wanted to introduce zombies, he would've been more creative than what Survive is offering.

Sure, but this comes with a movie that would normally cost 15 anyway. That comes up to a 60 dollar game, plus a 15 dollar movie, plus DLC that for once won't cost anything in this case, plus better packaging. If you were planning on getting the movie along with the game from the start, this is much more reasonable than its original 90 dollar pricetag.

Sure, it's possible, but it's a weird decision no matter which way you look at it. It took effort that wasn't even slightly necessary. Why not take the time to make the survivor NPCs less blisteringly stupid?
Witcher's the game I play when I get mad at Soulsborne games for whatever reason.
Witcher 3 also plays something like a long running TV series complete with filler episodes. It makes damned sure you're completely caught up and almost feels like it's designed to be played off and on, even between games.
It was really telling when Ghostbusters 2016 proved that this "movement" wasn't even big enough to fill theaters.

Yeah, this hype is only gonna set up some serious disappointment. Sure, if you don't have a PS4, definitely get pro. If you do have a PS4, however, it's ultimately not worth the extra 400 bucks. I'd even argue it's not quite worth the $280 difference you'd pay on a trade in.

It's not just Sony. Microsoft's pulling the same nonsense. Incremental console upgrades aren't the way to go. If you want an upgradable system, that's one thing. I'd be willing to buy an expansion to my own PS4. Why should I need to buy an entirely new console?
It's an improvement, sure, but it's nothing mindblowing or even all that noticeable. Give me some smooth 4K gameplay footage paired with identical PS4 1080p footage. Screenshots just aren't enough to display these "big improvements" I keep hearing about but never really seeing.
