Great fun even if I can't get tri-attack to work most times.

graphics - are average current gen (but not spectacular) 5/10

sound - excellent usage of 3d space, allows both original and localized languages 9/10

concept - a JRPG without magic... (of course you could argue that the guns and moves are magic, a new world exploration dynamic 8/10

story - so far linear with side quest - standard fare 5/10

fun - much harder to define...

that actually makes the game look cool... hopefully better then the previous outing of Iron Man on the current consoles...

150+ people in development is not small... not large but definitely not a small dev team.

well - early adopters do not care about price... :)

that said I will be an early adopter this time round. Have my Panasonic already ordered...(and 6 pairs of glasses.... 0O almost as much as the tv!)

It is good news...
Patent Trolls need to be fought and beaten in all areas of Patent law.

OTOH I think It might be cool to have a tougher horse... and shoot everyones horses from under them.

Business Process Patents...
they should be banned... oh wait they are supposed to be banned!

that they are one of the best. They tend to share knowledge around all 1st and 2nd party dev teams about technology and game development and have strong STRONG working relationships within the Playstation community.

"The only catch is that the PS3 or PSP file still has to be submitted to Sony for approval, as with all game content."

Sony is very conscious of what is placed on their network ... have no fear that such trivialities will hit the network. (they won't)

also "Skinny" could actually be more described as "PSN powerpoint" rather then a full developmental environment.

well the big advantage to something like this is
hybrid engines. you could do a poly engine for close range animation and collision detection on the unlimited detail objects at range...
that means great looking closeups with impressive and immerse long range draw distances.

seems very possible that they are developing a Active for Natal.
EA is very busy in many fields - if it is being developed it would be in EA Vancouver.

and that price is for the PSeye and the controller (it may actually launch for even less - we are trying)

It's also less if you buy just the controller - if you have an PSeye already.
