@foxgod
fun!
hmm platformers and beat em ups have good abilities to have communities even though they are action games (which you suggest are only good in the fps genre for community). Hell RPGs can do it with things like (ever hear of these) MMOs. Puzzle games, RTS... I can't think of a game genre that does not allow for community!
don't like turn based strategy games?
I love em.
er no. SD has nothing to do with compression and neither does HD...
SD means that the movie is a 4:3 ratio picture with a 720×576 max resolution. an ED format covers between SD and HD which begins at a 16:9 aspect ratio with a min resolution of 1280x720. 4k is next resolution break and then superhivision is top format
so no... the difference is in the level of compression used on the video stream. Blu-ray discs are compressed but internet video streams are compressed even...
@IdleLee
A journalist for a respected magazine with strong influence on household buying decisions is not like some anonymous internet blogger in any shape or fashion.
even if they get onto the wall they will have some serious work cut out to become game of the year on the xbox or the ps. Gears 3 on the xbox and *********3 on the ps3 will be hitting hard as well.
more press = more excitement.
lets check world wide next time though and or after E3... I suspect worldwide demand is pretty much skewed the other way.
1st they destroy Fallout with the non canonical fallout3 gameplay now Xcom... why! please keep some classic game play please please please!
Can't wait to see the unintended social side effects in this game...
virtual divorce? who gets the virtual kid?
Offspring - which parent takes care of the kid during play
how about if the kid is killed by bears?
anyway It's way to hard to predict what the final result will be until the game hits... It's a day 1 for me and it should be fun.
"Zampella would only say the ---> clams <--- were “false and outrageous and that’s all we really have to say about it.” "
this whole situation is a farce... This is the reason we have lawyers draw up contracts, to avoid he said, she said situations such as this mess. I suspect that both parties are wrong to an extent and I know that we will never hear the whole story.
new update to the patch... (even more fixes :) )
same... I prefer the lesser compressed version by landslide.
only reasons trophies came about is because of envy over the Xbox achievements. It was an easy think to bring into games so it was done because of the people who were crying that the PSN didn't have rewards like the achievements. less then 20% of users care but they care in a extremely whiny way (and the press... which savaged PS over it saying that Live is better because of the ability to brag about pointless events in a gamers life (i spent 20000hours playing x rather then going to school)...
and yet it is... learn 3d theory :)
if you can determine z-depth you have a 3d field.
@BigPappy
Well duh... that is exactly what i said. The only difference is that light is precalibrated (known size and shape) in system so uses less processor. It still can do the other.
I do know what I am talking about and read what you copied...
yes the camera can understand Z depth if you devote cycles and calibration to it for the objects to be viewed in a 3d field. If you use parallax duo cameras of course it allows for less need to process as the parallax covers...
they do ban them... remember to use the report function :)
when your PSN account is banned - it bans the console.
NUKE EM FROM ORBIT.... IT'S THE ONLY WAY TO BE SURE.
The pseye can do full body tracking as it is. Try some experiments on the pc with the camera,it just requires proper software :)
(I recommend modifiying some multitouch software as it is a good basis or check the ieeecomputersociety for some really good single source motion full body motion tracking ideas)
But for best results a modification can be made to the camera to make it better at motion tracking - remove the IR filter and it does body tracking 100-135% better then with it ...
