Maybe I'm wierd but at this point, i have no problem paying full price for a new game i want. First, it's always a game i want, so i am happy.I want to support the publishers for making it. Also, how often do u pay $60, unless ur the guy that preorders everything and then sticks it on the shelf til u got time. U can generally buy a new game, even upon release, for $10-$20 off from amazon, new egg etc. And u still get the online pass. Wait a month or two and u will know if a game is wo...
I am not a fanboy. I simply want to convey an idea to a game company. Make star wars for the ps3. How awesome would it be to use the move for this. It could b 1st person. The controllers light up green, blue, red, and purple. In a dark room, they glow. If done by a good fps game company, it could b high quality. Imagine swinging a glowing purple move controller and each time it makes that woosh noise. The move would b easier and better suited to use as a saber than a gun. It could basically b...
Right on the mark. Seriously, I could not have said it better. The only unfortunate aspect of this game, when coupled with me, is that I just finished 250 hours of skyrim, i have 3 unfinished games from the fall, mass effect 3 & the witcher 2 are coming in consecutive months, and i am inherently unable to pass up any exclamation point...ever!!!(no pun intended)!!!
So, while some quests do grind the adventure to a halt, while lengthening it to elder scroll heights, and tim...
This is a list of the most popular best selling games. If someone hasn't played it, they can't tell u how good the ending was. Thus, a list of the best endings for the most popular, best selling titles.
I'm just saying that with a small team that referenced memory issues on the 360, i can't imagine after seeing skyrim on the ps3 that this "small team" will want to tackle the foreign architecture that is the ps3, especially considering how developers have mentioned that they don't love the divided memory so much. I'm doin a little reading between the lines. I'm pretty sure this wasn't an exhaustive interview on all the reasons in the world that it wasn't ...
The perfect time will b...never. it wont come to ps3. They r a small group. They will do this and move to the witcher 3, then next Gen will come etc. Couple that with the fact that ps3 unfortunately suffers from memory issues (which is the biggest problem they had with Xbox) & their refusal to compromise their vision and...I'm just glad i bought an Xbox cuz this is one game i want to play. My ps3 will b off for a few months. I love my ps3 nut Sony screwed up w their memory...that is a...
Its this that makes me cry. Thank goodness I bought a 360 for mass effect, now i can play this as i did skyrim with no worries. I own both consoles and play mainly on ps3, but there is no doubt that Sony really screwed up with their memory, ie. Fallout, skyrim, and now the witcher 2's absence. I guarantee it never comes to ps3, especially considering all the problems it has had with skyrim and cdprojekts issue w memory on Xbox. It is sad too because imagine what the ps3 could do if it had...
I don't even have a PC, but u r saying that uncharted 3 looks an entire generation behind mass effect 3 on PC? From what i have read, me3 on PC is not battlefield 3 or crysis. Many are complaining about the low Res textures in places similar to skyrim. Many are upset that they chose to make it similar to consoles. Also, lets wait and see next Gen before we say that a low setting port is better than this gens consoles best looking games. Now, i will agree that i am jealous of PC gamers, fo...
You can say, comic books don't make up for ME1 and ps3 users had to wait 12 months for goty me2., but i would say thank goodness ps3 now has this franchise and that the differences are negligible. I bought an Xbox 360 just for mass effect, one of xboxs great exclusives.
Atleast it exists for ps3 users as opposed to uncharted, little big planet etc. I don't think any of them are complaining just greatful for the opportunity to play one of this gens best games.
Wow...honesty. its quite refreshing. I agree completely. And the irony is that the differences are the same ones that occur with most multi platform games these days. Xbox is darker, has less detail and generally runs smoother. You would think we know this already. The differences are minute. I am going to get it for Xbox for the reason most ppl will chose a console, because of their save file. No one is going to look at the other version and say, damn, that's so much better that I will i...
So, if it isn't good enough to buy a kinnect for (which i was considering), this is basically an article to tell us that it has kinnect support. Unlike Bioshock (believe it or not u can buy a visio 3d TV 42" w/ 4 pairs of glasses for $700) which ppl may get for ps3 because of its capabilities, everyone will choose mass effect based on the system they played the previous titles on. For most, this is Xbox. Someone who played mass effect 2 on ps3 isn't going to get it on Xbox becaus...
I agree that the fix to mass effect 1 's inventory problem wasn't doing away without loot. It was fixing the inventory system. I loved getting gear and weapons for everyone. I would love full customization of every companion etc.
As far as the demo is concerned, it is everything I thought it would b and I'm happy. I agree that the wheel wasn't used much but hopefully that was for the intro. It was better looking, faster, smoother etc. I love the melee, dodgin...
Do you want to sell zillions of games to a mass market or become a beloved cult classic that finds a niche in some hardcore corner? Games used to be hard because everyone was making them that way. Since then tech has advanced and companies have realized graphics and epic storytelling sell much better. Making those games real hard would only turn ppl off. We r to blame because we continue to buy them. Also, many companies find that hardcore gamers get their fix going head to head against real ...
I agree completely. The demo does no justice. It felt different even playing through the part repeatedby the demo. It just gives u the sense of greatness to come, of places to explore and ppl to meet and help. I had the same problems and maybe they shoulda gone fully in biowares direction by voicing my character especially considering how good the actors are. I started it on hard and I must admit that it isn't easy. I love how they mixed real time combat w stats, forcing me to always be a...
One game releases with amazing graphics and every game in its genre, at least must follow suit. This is unfortunate but we are the reason. Until they are maxed out and look like real life, it will always be a major priority. Its like curb appeal as it helps to sell the game. If we see a gorgeous game, we will most likely buy it. If its average, we don't buy it unless later on we find out that its really good.
Companies just are not willing to take the risk elsewhere. Also...
Ill b honest, I don't care if there's multi or not. I am an avid RPG fan but like good shooters also. If it helps immerse the player in the war with the reapers and the combat is good, I am all for it. Also, great combat doesn't make an RPG bad simply because previous RPG juggernauts had poor combat. I am getting KoA tomorrow and I really liked its combat.
What is very important to me are the actual Roger elements. Just because the inventory was poor in 1 didn...
I hope u like it in the UK. And while in perspective this may be trivial, it is a drop in the bucket of what appears to be and emerging pattern. It is other countries and regimes that allow us to realize what we have and how it can be lost if we are not vigilant. Our generation, myself included is the apex of years of making life better for the next. I fear we have become complacent and dumbed down; not less intelligent, but much more ignorant. Some of this is schooling and our fault but much...
I agree. I had also read that they wanted to set up a global governing body. I do not like global governing bodies. I like sovereignty. Anytime I hear it, i get very nervous because we do not elect the leaders of that governing body and they do not represent our interests. There is an answer, but this isn't it. It seems that the government spends every day and night recently coming up with ideas on how to police us. I do not believe for a minute that millions would go to jail, but if u r ...
It seems a bit obvious to me. One can easily be related to while the other appears science fiction. How many times has an innocent child been killed by terrorists in 2012 alone. I dunno, but i imagine it haa happened. And in time when the middle east is on fire and we all still have scars from 911, it isn't too far fetched to imagine something like this actually happening. In MW3 all the sights and sounds are very familiar and when this occurs, it hits home. I haven't played mass effe...
When i saw the title, i thought, all my greatest gaming relationships came from two ips from the same company, dragon age and mass effect by bioware. And thus, so were yours. Now, I'm going to go rack my brain tl see if any other company has really offered companionship to me. If not, oh well. In 2 weeks, my journey for the next love of my video game life begins.
