Everyone's right. Let's keep on about how evil they are because they are giving free dlc. Do i believe it was gonna be free...no. only an idiot would. Had everything gone as planned, we would have paid for it. If it had gone as planned, i wouldn't have minded. But, it didn't and they are giving it to us for free. Are they gonna admit that it was supposed to cost money...no...because they dont know what to say right now. They had amazing success, believed in what they were doin...

I was very excited about prey 2. It had a mass effect feel to it. With mass effect ending, i so badly wanted prey 2 to be great. Now, bethesda introduces a game that feels like my other favorite game of this gen, bioshock. Here's to hoping dishonored doesn't get shelved too. At least there is an actual bioshock coming. Though i can't complain, i loved mass effect 3. I'm just sad it's over.

I would say bioshock. It definitely gives me the bioshock feeling, the immersion, the unique characters, the powers, and the oddity of it all. And i couldn't be happier. I want it now.

It would kill off all small and fringe ips. The only full retail games would be major triple A releases. They would get bigger and better and garner 95% of full game sales. Indie and downloadable games would explode, along with mobile. Companies without a call of duty, wow, mass effect etc would close or change direction. Gamers would only be able to afford a certain number of major releases a year and then a bunch of little ones.

On it's face, it doesn't seem terrib...

So now the bashing starts becauae dlc was supposed to be free. Wow. So was the multi ...and i would have bought it. Unlike asuras wrath, i actually don't mind supporting bioware for a phenomena trilogy and my favorite multilateral in quite some time.

A note to Irrational. Mass effect and bioshock were my favorite world's and characters from this gen. Bioware did an amazing job with it's multiplayer. I'd love to have a similar feature in Infinite. I wish biosho...

Ratings are simply to determine the appropriate age, not a definition of what type of game it is. As adults, we watch comedies as well as philisophical entertainment, neither of which may b for children, one because of language and sexual themes and the other because it is beyond their scope of reality. This is what reviews are for. And the ratings do include reasoning for it's rating and we generally knowingest to expect when we spend our money.

I do love gamea that deal...

This article is what is rediculous. Of course greed drives them, they are a business, and a business that has stiff competition on multiple fronts. And how is it gamestops responsibility if a game is bad. Do your homework or blame the creators for false advertisement... but mostly, take responsibility for what u buy. U can't play an entire game and expect to return it the next week for a refund. At least they take used games. Most places won't ever buy something back from u unless it...

It depends on what type of game it is. But i do agree that u want set the mood that u r trying to convey. U have to get ur game out there and despite the negative impact some may have, it is press and people learn about ur game. Ultimately, i agree with ur order.

See, bioware is still good at what they do. They may still have the ability to give us what we want. Well done, well done.

It depends on what is said. I am looking for details. If someone gives it a 0 and i know it's gibberish, i discount it. But sometimes users point out intricacies that i find more important to my tastes than reviewers do. I pretty sure we can all agree that the extreme is annoying. And for the most part, the reviews r honest because, despite the belief that pandering occurs, these reviewers know how astute we r. If we feel a reviewers opinions are too far out there, we won't read them ...

I know mass effect 3 has no operations on the playstation because sony will not share promotions with microsoft. It only hurts consumers. Maybe it is the title of a new game or it may have something to do with some agreement sony made with bioware so ps3.owners could finally get this awesome feature to a wonderful online addition.

I would agree. It's simply financial. It wouldn't sell as well. It would limit the consumer base. It just isn't worth it...basically ever. Every publisher knows that it isn't worth cutting off much of the gaming community for a little more violence.

Great review. U guys are almost always spot on. Now, stop enlightening me to new and amazing experiences. My batman, ezio, and fateless one hate you desperately. At least once a week each pokes their head out to see if the coast is clear, and much to their chagrin( yes, chagrin) they see me reading reviews like this, knowing that their van winkle act will continue for the near future. I assure them that one day soon, i will dust them off, trim their beard , harness their weapon of choice, and...

You can debate his role but not his existence. Actually, if i am not mistaken, he fulfilled 456 phophesies written atleast 400 before his birth. The odds are more than 10 to the power of 100, much more if i am correct... something like the odds of choosing a random element in the universe.

To the topic at hand, this shows that obviously it wasn't intended to be free. As much as i would love sp dlc, i love the multi and the dlc and am glad they put it out...for free...even...

It's a great argument. I have stated elsewhere that choice was impactful to the journey and to the character and thus the the player. Choice was always part of the journey. I dont think people even had a problem with the choices at the end but the fact that they existed. They wanted the illusion that one of the choices would automatically occur based on previous choices...that and a lord of the rings conclusion to characters. I love the idea that everyone's journey is original because...

I know a guy with over 200 & it's impossible unless u r using a team to do it...offline& then loading up to same panel account. Some of the gamea take too long to platinum. I believe trophies launched in nov 2008. That's 40 months. That's 8+ platinums a month. It has to be a team operating under 1 name

I guess i would have included bioshock and assasins creed over sorcery and risen 2...just me. Anyway, i did not know diablo 3 was multiplatform. Oh, and darksiders 2.

That's not entirely true. Ur choice at the end drastically changes the universe. As I've said, had they taken away the choice, and allowed the choices already made to lead to one of the three, would people have been upset? Maybe given a 10 minute montage that gave us a picture of the universe and characters after our choice?

5199d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

I'll admit that had they restructured the choices so u automatically got one based on choices, it would have fit better. Also, they should have known that we needed a lord of the rings type closure for this journey.

But what really pisses me off is that no one can give them their just dues. Up until the end, all three games were a mastery of stotytelling. EAch game upped the quality. I love the fact that action got good enough to build a mp around. And the multiplayer is ...
