Yeah...no kidding! What would possess someone to use that pic to get accross their point. Ive seen many articles like this with referencing pics. 99% of them are funny. This is not. I wanted to comment on the article. Now, i dont.

Its a possible screenshot for a game we dont even know will be releasing. It amazes me that the first reaction is that the graphics suck on a single arbitrary pic that we know nothing about. Maybe the idea that the game may be coming out should be slightly more important. And it is a story driven game. I am guilty of it too, but we put such a premium on graphics that we get gorgeous games that are very cookie cutter. Or we trash amazing games because they dont look like battlefield 3 on high ...

Is this supposed to be an even contest? Whats funny is that if u asked 100 gamers which theyd chose if only 1, 70% would say GTA5, but BO2 wil sell 4x as much. Its as if CoD has become the game that everyone just getsvto have it. They beat campaign during dinner and then keep it for some multiplayer. Plus, parents dont seem to mind buying CoD but many do hav an issue with GTA.

it will b the same as last year. Insert halo 4 for gow3 and black ops2 for mw3, a few kinect games for a few more kinect games and wa la...E3 2012. Im not being funny. Microsoft knows that it is very strong in multiplatform dominance (though mw3 on ps3 made a strong statement to the contrary). If u add the juggernaut that is halo 4 to the slew of multiplatform games, Microsoft can bascially skate through another E3, getting 1 year closer to the next gen reveal.

Would you ne d...

cash grab? They brought in 4.14 billion for a net income of 76 million? Last year was a loss if 240 billion. That isnt a great percentage where one would consider it "rakingin the dough". Id love to see what they spent 4 billion on?

It doesnt hurt thats its a resident evil game. But, yes, it is because of multiplayer in my experience. About 6 of my friends bought it. What do they all hav in common? They all love multiplayet. They played cod zombies alot, crysis 2, battlefield, mw3, etc. 4 of them are getting ghost recon this month. And they are now considering MP3 because they have seen the mp footage with crews etc. Look how popular l4d 1&2 were. Maybe it is mp or maybe its mp & zombies.

I feel the same way. And while it doesnt hav the expansiveness, it is more realistic because of that. There is purpose and combat is satisfying. The leveling and items may be a bit restrictive but i was destroying ppl with two handed weapons in skyrim as a pure mage...so at least there is sensibility in the leveling. Skrim is great for doing whatever u want but it loses focus and dramatic flare. The witcher 2 does not.

I think of the witcher as dragon age 2 perfected. Biowar...

Is it hard with todays tech to build a more realistic looking mmorpg? I understand that u build for medium or lower settings to get a larger audience. But, to be honest, swtor runs at higher settings and i would prefer it had been more realistic. Is is simply an art choice? Is the tech unable to run good looking mmos, like a skyrim looking mmo?

So, his duty was to the constitution and though he was following orders, he is a disgrace? While i agree, where is outrage at the continual disregard for the constitution? It is being stepped on on a daily basis in the name of some evolved sense of morailty. How many times have we sided with some gangster, sold him arms and then gone to war with him? Bin Laden? Col. North was a fall guy. But the real perpetrators went unpunished. And they do today too. To make matters worse, we herald these l...

Wow...no coments? This is a relative list but not bad imo. My list would be games that just floored me and burrowed into my brain. Its a toss up between the 1st zelda and ocarina of time. Bioshock for sure. Mass effect 1 or 2. FF7. Mario 64. Fallout 3 and possibly skyrim. I missed alot of the ps2 era so its a little biased. Uncharted 2 was pretty unbelivable too.

I am down. If u dont like it, u r done. Also, u know just what u r getting for ur money. Also, u know the next installment will be story related and not some cheap dlc thats tacked on afterwards.

It will be fallout 4, the perfect game to launch with. I cannot wait to see a next gen open world. I just hope that the gameplay gets some tweeking. It could use it. But, i am psyched. Fallout 3 remains one of my fav games. I remember the night i first played it very well. Its one of the very rare games that makes a huge impact on the gamer, unforgettable and highly addictive.

I agree about how games change etc. But this is a core element? I think you mentioned that you really didnt want to play it again after u were done but at least it was something a solo player could do? So, you would be returning it anyway, just a couple days later. Theres always little replayability for strictly solo players in these kind of games with short campaigns. Do you not like teaming up with your friends to play? And many of these mordes do offer settings for a solo play. Its just re...

Its good to question but its funny. Everyone clamors for an online elder scrolls and then its a bad idea. Same thing would happen with fallout mmo. I just wonder why all mmos must be the same.

Off topic, i watched Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol. At the very end, Ethan gets a new mission to stop a terrorist group that has hacked military computers and taken control of all US drones. He must hav failed, and thats how we get black ops 2, lol.

Yeah, its copying Ghost Recon and and pasting it over CoD. No, i am not going to bitch that they are trying something new and different. It will appear copy and paste because of the engine but we have to be careful not to trash treyarch for attemting to move forward, for tring something new. We have to wait for details on gameplay because all we are referencing now is graphics and to be honest, building a new engine now would be in their best interest. It takes time and next gen is coming soo...

I guess there is a little sadness that cod is able to literally destroy everyone. It is GR's "thing" that they talked to real military to design weapons and vehicles that are realistict to the future, which black ops made a point of mentioning. But, they are different games. Black ops will play just like a cod game. GR is more cerebral and tactical oriented. Im no a huge cod fan, didnt buy mw3, but i always liked treyarch. At least they are trying something.

You are right. I am very worried. People have clamored for multiplayer in skyrim etc and now straight to mmo. I hope it isnt a money grab. That being said, its the easiest setting to give players content. I spent 265 hours on one playthrough of skyrim, for me 3 months. People love wandering the lands of tamriel. The combat will onviously change a bit. I actually think it may be scaled back. I guess we will see. I sure hope though, they were able to recreate the setting. Most mmos have interes...
