So disappointed because they talked so much about owning their IPs and doing it a new way. Hell Blade must have been too hard to make.
I have NO issue with paying for the expansion, especially if you have logged 500+ hrs in the game, and will will log twice as much with what looks to be the “real” D2 coming in the fall. We can’t expect it to be a free update. But...it would be smart to consider rewarding those who haven’t left! Maybe a discount etc.
That said, it’s terrible for bringing in new ppl. Holy hell! That...and I will definitely agree that they have been beyond greedy this time around. And not so...
Have we become so jaded that a game like this doesn’t impress at all? If you had said, “I am a bit apprehensive concerning their ability to release a game in a genre that demands insane content drops...” it would be more realistic.
The problem w Anthem is that it’s almist too impressive. But we have seen WF deliver. And many others. Andromeda and Destiny should not get us completely down concerning Anthem.
Reminds me more of Warframe I think. It will revolve around the suit you wear, and you will level the suit. And when you want to change classes, you don’t have to change characters, just your suit. This is good and bad...
Bad because the replay ability will decrease, but good because like WF they can focus on giving you achievements etc, for leveling up and customizing your suit to be your own...and it’s more immersive because you will be using one character.

True. It’s a mark of accomplishment to them lol!
Who is Microsoft? Were they at E3 last year.? Oh yeah, they make the wallpaper on my PC at work.
Yes you did sir! And since you didn’t play D2, I am going to give my 2 cents. I am absolutely stymied by this dlc. It is heading in the EXACT direction that I and so many had seen for D2 after all the D1 trials and tribulations. It is kinda what we expected from D2.
Instead we got some odd off beat, strange watered down game that seemed to be a complete 180 from everything we had worked together towards in D1.
Now...after all the backlash AND LOSING 80% o...
I hate when ppl leak things like this. I doubt this is info we were gonna get at E3. He will try and change the demo though to make this rumor appear false.
I was hoping for some kind of 4th rail game in which the game is affected by real life shit, integrating a mobile app or something.
What is this dude on? Yeah. They are great games, but c’mon man!
Here we go again! They seem to right the ship and then we get statements like these.
It’s a service game. Look at the money ESO is making. Why make another ES right now? It will be some type of survival mmo of sorts is my guess.
Never thought of that but before I played this I was so much looking forward to epic boss fights. I guess the game was so epic itself that I totally forgot. I hope the next one has a few epic battles. The combat system is perfect for it!
Damn! Can’t believe I didn’t even really notice.
Get everyone who didn’t buy it to own it for free, and once they r hooked...expansion!
Wow! Never got around to it. Will now!!!
Where is the Starfield project? And odd that FO is coming before ES! I really wanted one much further in the future to see how the world shaped up when it began to be rebuilt. Now it’s gonna be completely devoid of vegetation etc.
Even better, it’s Ann iOS version.
Any possibility it is this Starfield game that I am convinced was supposed to be shown last E3. I LOVE Fallout, but I need a new engine and an evolution. I actually loved settlement building, but the actual gameplay needs improvement.
There’s many apps that sell games on them, including games that compete directly with Apple. PS has an app in which you can purchase apps, just as Valve does. Maybe it is the fact that these can be purchased AND played on the device itself. Now people will have a choice when choosing what to play on their iPhone. Do I buy a game from Apple or from Valve? Not what Apple wants I guess.
And I don’t see a quick fix at all. Micro transactions garner billions in profits. And that...
Its a strange statement. It’s like someone playing GoW and saying, that’s how I wanted to make my game lol!
And yeah, TW3 makes every game feel hollow. It’s just so damn dense, and it’s side quests are better than the main quests. It’s nuts! My only issue, and it’s serious nitpicking, is the combat system, and 99% of games, including the Souls games and Bioshock, have this issue...the combat becomes too easy too quickly. And this makes anything related to progression somew...
Are you kidding me? Because they didn’t show us 5 games coming in 5 yrs from now. They showed us spectacular games, on the back of spectacular games already released. We are winding down this gen and they wanted to focus on what they do best! And they do do it best!
