This is a great idea!!! Though even though 90% of my games are digital, I think I’d prefer disc based just because of the possibility of needing one...for movies or a good deal!
Also , when he says systems, I think it’s because we know that each gen releases multiple systems, be it slimmer, now even a 1/2 step up.

I do think Sony “won” E3 for whatever that means, simply because they continue to give us the best games that can only be played on a PlayStation. Was this year’s presser as exhilarating as the last 3 years? No. Because we live to be wowed by surprises. We are winding down this gen and reaching the culmination of years of work and dedication by 1st party studios. Did Sony do it right by announcing so much so early? Who knows? But they’ve done a wonderful job of giving gamers what they want. ...
If and can pull this off, and no doubt they can, it will be a giant evolutionary jump for animatd real time combat.
Lineage 2 is the best mobile game there is. Live Level 9 so this should be damn good.

I just want the gameplay to be new and fresh. I wanted something 4th rail that gave us a new perspective on video games and the industry. We will see I guess.

Everyone can’t own Rockstar! They are amazing, as was Levine and his team. But why take shots at Ubi? I think they are doing quite well and have honed in on what many gamers want, giving up bad habits and simply making games. What’s wrong with that?
Yes, games like GTA and RDR are phenomenal, but ya make them once every 5 years. Someone else has to make games to fill in the gaps!

I get that they wanna make new games with new ideas, but ya can’t make a game like Alan Wake and then not make another one for a decade.
Well, except for the online on all the games I can’t play on X1. I’m not buying a console for $400 to be able to play a game with someone who is not on that console.
While it’s a nice feature for sure, and while I believe Sony shouldn’t close themselves off in this regard, in no way would it make me stop playing on a console I love.

But it’s nice to have new IPs from such a great dev. We WILL see BB2 at some point and I will bet DS isn’t done with either.
But now they will have another IP also. It also allows them to try new ideas....which is awesome.
And I guarantee that however resurrection works, it will be tied into very difficult gameplay in some way. As far as classes go, I bet the attachments will take the place of classes.

My greatest summer game was Lost Odyssey. I bought a 360 for Mass Effect. Played that and Gears 1 and 2 I believe and then didn’t know what to play. I spent part of June, July and August playing Lost Odeyssey and it’s one of my greatest gaming memories. So amazing! Fell in love w my 360 then!
C’mon MS, bring us the next LO. I will buy an X1X tomorrow.

I am beyond angry that CDPR felt it necessary to bring a demo to E3, even if it was behind closed doors. How do they think it’s even fair to show off this game and then make us wait up to 2 or 3 years to play it.
CDPR! If you can hear me, I don’t want to see or know anything else about this game until 3 months before it’s release. I can’t take the wait. I don’t even know much and it’s already ruining other games for me.
I agree with you. I think many ppl simply want to be a part of what he is doing...
And so what if he wants to bring some legitimacy to his games? He already has the respect of gamers everywhere, why not try and expand the notion of what games are and try and reach a wider audience?
So many big name actors have already begun to film for Netflix and other newer types of media outlets. Honestly, I DO see a day in which games and movies etc. overlap.

This is NOT good news! BB is not that hard. The problem is that most games are much too easy. GoW did it right with different settings. I hopes Ghosts at least has something like that.
I get that some games should be built around a particular difficulty, but hopefully Ghosts is not a beautiful hollow shell!
