The only way they could achieve this is if they developed the game with the limitations of the slower system in mind. YAY, it looks "great" on both systems! Sure...by killing off the graphical complexity, you got the game to run at 1080p on both systems. It speaks less to "optimization" of the Xbox and more to the gimping of the graphics this game COULD have had if it were taking full advantage of the PS4s hardware!
Sorry, but this is just flame bait. Fact is, there will be MORE to play on the PS4, and BETTER games on Nintendo. Yes, the Xbox will be unmatched...in it's poor selection of low resolution, borderline unplayable games. Try harder next time Phil...maybe by backing up your PR spin with, you know, actual games?

It's not "hate" to point out or talk about the deficiencies of a console compared to it's competition. ESPECIALLY on a site that is pretty much devoted to such comparisons.
I suggest, sir, that you get a thicker skin...as articles critical of the Xbox One and Microsoft...
Yeah, I understand what you are saying, but if they don't offer straight up purchases, then I won't be using the service at all. I have ZERO interest in "renting" games.
And here comes another cash grab from EA! Now, new and improved with less features and more DLC! Yay?
Seriously folks, buy a used copy of an older game if you feel the need to play Sims...but DONT give EA ANY of your money until they PROVE to us that they value us as customers and not just a piggy bank for their shareholders! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

There is a reason these games faded into obscurity. None of them were very good!
Sorry guys, but it's not going to take years to decide the winner this gen. Last gen was a horse race mainly because the consoles were so similar in performance...this year they are NOT. Also, Sony has more than DOUBLE the number of games that Xbox has, and that number is going to go up.

Oh yeah, it was the story of Sisyphus! It's amusing watching MS try to push that boulder over the hill, only to watch it slip again and again!
Not to mention the little fact that Halo 2 isn't going to be full 1080p, like Moncole claims! The devs can talk about 2 frame buffers and other excuses all they want, but I find it rather pathetic that they can't remaster a 10 year old game and get it running in Full HD!
If the developers would just keep the particle and lighting effects to a minimum, they should have no problem hitting 1080p, even on the underpowered Xbox! I would MUCH prefer a solid 1080p/60fps game with a few less bells and whistles to a 782p/30fps game that stutters every time the action steps up!

looks like...darn it! I was all set to go home yesterday, buy it and play...now I have to sit spinning my wheels for a while. As soon as it shows up on our store, I am buying it, though!
I just checked the NA store and Another World is nowhere to be found on either the PS4 or the Vita! :(

It's hard to argue with cold hard facts. NINETY+ games playable RIGHT NOW on PS4, and only about 45 on XB1.
