Titanfall looks like a great game...too bad I will never buy an EA game. Even if it comes out on the PS4, if it has the EA badge on the box, I will give it a pass. Could be the greatest game ever, and I will still not buy it. Until EA gets their priorities straight and starts behaving like a GAMING company instead of a soulless corporation, the boycott will continue...
The price is FINE (I would prefer to pay MORE for a better headset!)...if it was something like a Kinect, I would agree with you, but I don't think you realize just how DIFFERENT VR is from regular gaming. This isn't a "gimmick", it's a true REVOLUTION in how we game!

PLENTY of people, including myself would not only pay $300 for their existing setup, but would PREFER to pay more for a higher performing set! $300-$500 is not too much for a VR headset.

I will wait until the hype dies down a little, then will get it for $10-$15 (what I feel it's worth) right before Phantom Pain comes out. I have no doubt it is a great experience, but paying $30 for what amounts to a demo rubs me wrong. Hey, if I am REALLY lucky, it will be free on PSN right before Phantom Pain comes out!
I bought the OG PS1 game on my PS3. I am very much looking forward to a shiny new version! I don't purchase many games "day one", but this will be one of them! OK, am off to lunch...maybe some scrab cakes would be good today...hmmm
@N64fan Wrong. Killzone wasn't "bundled in" as a FREE game like Titanfall. It WAS in a bundle, but you still ended up paying for the price of the PS4 + the price of the game. BIG difference, bub.
The markets that Sony is selling in haven't been very good to Microsoft and the Xbox in the past. When they do, finally, release in these territories in September, you will see for yourself how poorly they do there. That's assuming Microsoft doesn't pack it all in by then (the Xbox division, not MS as a whole).
@Badboy776 The GAME isn't a flop. They moved over 700,000 copies (a good chunk of those paid for by MS directly and included "Free", but still). However, it IS a flop in the sense that it failed to move any significant number of Xbox One consoles.
My guess is that the majority of the console sales in Q4 last year were made up of the "die hard" Xbox fans (fanatics)...and the sales now reflect the reality of the majority of what most people look for ...

OK, this is EXACTLY like their statements on Windows Phone growth...VGChartz had the week ending March 8th showing 14,000 (and change) XBox Ones sold in ALL of Europe. So a "96%" increase probably means somewhere around 5000 individual units sold...that isn't going to change the game...but it makes for an exciting sounding press release! If that is the BEST they can do, immediately following the release of their most anticipated game, they are in SERIOUS trouble!

Keep in mind that MS fans are still in denial about Windows 8, Windows Phone and Surface. It will be 2 more years before they admit that their console (and corporation) of choice is the loser here. But the rest of us, who have half a brain (and can read charts/sales figures) can see where this is headed right now.
I am going to call it now. MS will pull the plug on the Xbox One by the end of 2015 at the very latest.
