Why would I spend $600+ on a console, Live subscription, extra controllers, etc when over 90% of the games this gen will be multiplatform? ESPECIALLY since those games will play BETTER on my PS4?
Because of Sunset Overhype? Forza? Halo? Project Spark? Quantum Break? Phantom Dust? Crackdown? Hell, the last three won't even see the light of day until late 2015 AT BEST...more likely 2016!

Even at $400, they would have a hard time moving significant numbers...at $800? Forget it, it's just not going to sell! People tend to ignore the fact that the Chinese ARE avid gamers...on PC. Neither the Xbox or the PS4 are going to do well in that country.

I used to be a die hard PC only gamer...but something happened. First, my last "gaming PC" was a laptop I bought in 2005...for $3500. That was for a 17" model with a desktop Pentium 4 processor and a MXM Nvidia card (cant remember which).
PC gaming is a VERY expensive hobby! To get a decent gaming PC, you are looking at $1000 MINIMUM, and probably more like $1500.

BTW, this IS NOT the first exclusive TV show on PSN, that would have been "Xamd: Lost Memories" on the PS3! It launched exclusively on PSN then was available elsewhere later.

I vehemently disagree with the entire PREMISE of the article! Sony DOES take jabs at their competition (and they are WELL deserved), but they also just came off a rather embarrassing launch of their prior gen platform, the PS3. Far from being arrogant, Sony is looking to solidify their lead in the market. Well, the PS4 is getting Abe: New and Tasty and Grim Fandango (!)...those two titles alone made me pick the PS4!
The article's main sin is that the author is pretending that the PS4 doesn't even exist. He automatically ASSUMES that Xbox 360 owners will upgrade to Microsoft's console...and that is FAR from a given this generation!
I would hope that at some point the author returns to the subject and sees fit to include the PS4 as an option...right now this article simply REEKS of being a paid spot by MS and their PR firms!
Reasons to buy a PS4 instead:
1. More games (most importantly! DOUBLE the number of games playable RIGHT NOW on PS4 vs. XB1!)
2. More powerful hardware (between 33% and 50% more powerful!)
3. Multiplatform games look and play better on PS4.
4. More exclusive content for multiplatform games on PS4.

It doesn't work all that well even in the US. The Xbox COMMERCIALS trigger Xbox commands...no discrete IR power commands, no ability to edit delays, no DVR support. Also, some cable boxes (Tivos in particular) HDMI signals are SEVERELY degraded when passing through the Xbox. You also have to keep your XBox on just to watch ANY TV (no power off pass-through). Kinect's accuracy is only 80-85% accurate AT BEST (meaning you have to repeat yourself often, or commands result in unexpect...
