I don't think I will be missing a thing. If this is the best Xbox has to offer, they are in serious trouble.
So...
#4 is basically DLC
#3 is only a BETA this year
#2 is a rehash of old games
and #1 is the most overhyped game of the year.
Great list bro!
Not really surprising. They are committed to Windows 8, Surface, Windows Phone...and none of those products are in the least successful. I can see MS dumping millions more into Xbox for the foreseeable future, regardless of poor sales.
It's not a good deal considering the performance and number of games (and the quality of those games) available on the console. Note where this is being sold...Sams Club. What does Sams Club do? They buy overstocked products that didnt sell elsewhere for cheap, the resell them. There are probably a LOT of Forza bundles out there...
too bad 360 sales were PATHETIC 8 months after launch! The bigger problem is that after the price cut/kinectless sku, its still not moving, and certainly not besting the PS4, even in NA. This turkey is DONE folks! Oh wait, we still have Sunset Overhype and the 2nd tier countries to save it...
Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought Firaxis did very well with XCOM?
This generation, I am thinking that the exclusives (what are we talking about, really? 4-5 games for each platform?) are going to be less influential.
I think most gamers are going to be like KakashiHotake here and play mostly multiplatform games...and we know which console plays those better.
Ok, what's the "disagree" for? Care to explain?
Looks like it! I was INCREDIBLY disappointed when it didn't drop 2 weeks ago with the rest of the world...and when it failed to make an appearance last week as well!
Regardless, I am buying this as soon as it hits the store! CAN NOT WAIT to play through it again!
There are a couple different Seagate Hybrid drives out there. The one to AVOID is the one with the 8GB cache...THAT one causes the stuttering problems that Sony warns about. The one listed in the article, with the 64MB cache seems to be working well for users.
I just want to know...really...why are Xbox enthusiasts so hell-bent on defending the poor performance of the console? Why? Its obvious at this point that the Xbox does not, and will NEVER have equivalent power to the competing console...so why beat the dead horse?
Buying Another World! Wonder why it was delayed here in NA, when it launched 2 weeks ago on the Xbox One and on the PS platforms in the EU? In any case, INSTANT buy!
The problem isn't how well the games look or play at this point. The real problem that Microsoft has, is that after COUNTLESS articles talking about it, and endless fan driven debates, the PERCEPTION of the public at large (you know, the people who DON'T come here and comment) is that the Xbox is underpowered.
You can debate back and forth all day about how 900p is "good enough", but the people paying money for shiny new consoles have determined that one IS...
GOD! ENOUGH of this "real gamer" crap! Do you play games? ANY games? Then you are a "gamer"! It doesn't matter if it's "Farmville", or "Solitaire"...if you play games, and you are real, then you are a "real gamer"!
Enough of this stupid trend...Tree Simulator? Really? Saw "Rock Simulator" the other day too...this has to be the worst trend in gaming I have ever seen.
The game has deteriorated past the point of no return, IMHO. The "cards" and "coins"...adding free-to-play mechanics in a retail game is just straight up BULLSHIT!
I won't be buying ANY NFL game until EA loses exclusivity and someone else makes one!
Yeah, because they have to check in, get their gamerscore authenticated by a notary public, and be issued an OFFICIAL ID card, right? Get off it!
You know, I am going to laugh my ass off when Sunset Overhype gets review scores in the mid-sixties...
@NextLevel Funny that you are getting downvotes for FACTS! Bubble up for you, sir!
It doesnt need 14 things...it just needs two..
1. More powerful hardware
2. Better support from 3rd party publishers
Now, if (and it's a pretty big IF) MS gets their act together and makes becoming a developer for XB1 a bit easier, they can address #2...but unfortunately #1 ain't happening.
