Some great designs on the Gaf forum. Im getting the MGS 5 PS4 so not picking this one up.
How exactly has Sony been complacement? Have they not released more ecxlusives so far this year? Are they still not going after great Indie titles and offering amazing PS+ games? Are they not seeking third party deals (like MS with the 360?)...? Are they not pursuing exclusive media content on PS4?

Did Xbox bare 8 months widen the gap? Yes. Will this Xmas close the gap? In the US and UK maybe, but only short term. Worldwide the PS4 will still dominate each month... Even if it's still more expensive. Plus many more games incoming!

It's standard practice now. MS pushed this a lot with the 360, especially with Halo and COD. This Gen they have 2xHalo, Forza, Sunset Overdrive, TF, Day 1 edition, and I'm sure mores to come.Sony is just following this trend. Of course it increases the install base and demand. Bungie, Naughty Dog and many others used to be Indie. At which point does a game's value stem from how it was developed...? Don't buy it then, simple.
No issues paying full price. The game is unique and really does innovate. I want this developer to grow. To be honest I want it on disk too.
So Sony was at E3 and will be at PGW, TGS and PSX... but i guess they had nothing to show so missed Gamescom?... Illogical conclusion by some.

A lot to play on Ps4 in August. Some really good points there. The bump from Destiny (Taken King) bundle won't be apparent until September number though. August will be interesting. Rare Replay and Marcus Fenix up against some diverse and digital games on PS4. The PS4 will take Sept I think too.

I guess you like waiting on the holidays to get games. What are you playing right now on your XB1 since Sony doesn't have anything you want to play currently? I have 3 games on PS4 that I am playing right now (that came out recently) that cannot be played on Xbox. Enjoy your holiday games. Remember to dust off your XB1 before you use it.
And the month the PS4 wasn't ahead was because of the Batman Bundle that was on preorder.
Some very good points. Last gen they gloated about NPDs, and how awesome sales were. They also quoted only sold through numbers.
Now everything is shipped and combined with 360 sales... the "XBOX family". Yet Greenberg still would still post pics of PS4 bundles on shelves and talk about sales when they win the holidays... Yet the world gap widens. MS is only close in the US and UK, and people want games all year round.
