Sony will bide their time and watch MS blow their load with hype and very little substance. Better to wait on MS's pricing and then come out guns blazing.... Maybe... What do I know ?

I logged over 1000 hours in Resistance Fall of Man. The online was something special. Single Campaign was great too, Second game was just okay... but the single player in the third game was AMAZING. One of the best FPS campaigns I have ever played.
Naughty Dog does have a history of downgrading their games. Look at Uncharted 2 on PS3! The game will look grear and play great, with an awesome story. This is what Naught Dog does. In DOG we trust.
The conference did not make me want an Xbox One. What it did was show was that MS are investing in games again. Let's see what exclusives these new first party studios can make and then I will consider getting one.
Nero looks a bit too much like short hair new Dante. I am hoping for the Sons of Sparda and Nero all returning... Please have great Virgil moments like DMC 3.
Good conference for MS. Best in a few years actually. Although most of the games shown were multiplatform, they had some good reveals. Gears 5 was a nice surprise. The 5 studios may not have games ready until the end of 2019 or 2020 though, so we won't see much from them yet. The only think I did not like was the mentioning of the next Xbox console. This took out the steam for me. Why would I get an Xbox One if they are talking about another console already? Other than that I really liked...
MS will have a big third party showing I believe, with exclusive content and marketing deals. Even though they said they were done with these sort of deals. Not much in the way of exlusives IMO. For instance I think these games will be shown on MS's stage:
Tomb Raider, Splinter Cell, Assassin's Creed, Anthem, Cyberpunk, Battlefield 5, Metro, The Division 2. Not sure if Halo or Gears will make an appearance. We know Forza will be there as usual. MS needs new excl...
Publishers like EA are using the "games of a service" mantra to push loot boxes and DLC. This is there justification to keep adding locked content behind a paywall. There's way more context in GOW than many of the service babes games out now... And those cost way more than 60 to get this level of quality and storytelling. That's why single players shouldn't go anywhere.
MS are using this to justify their lack of single player investment and new IPs......
When they fell behind they started using "engagement numbers" like time played and Xbox live usage (which is not only console) . Sales only matter when they were leading in the NPDs. Just like how Indies, power and resolution didn't matter when the PS4 had this in the bag... These matter now since the one X. Whatever narrative MS follows the fanatics eat up... Like exclusives don't matter, games need to be service etc.
What? 499 with no games?
I think they should at least have a booth with demos and games. Microsoft could gain some momentum.
Play exclusives? Oh wait.
Really? So Kinect, TV and Sports were for the hardcore? And the same franchises yearly? This guy is full of s#it as usual.

I wonder if when hiding behind cover or when performing a melee, it goes into third, like Deus Ex? I would prefer that to be honest. But I trust CD PR
If you can't make it, call it fake I guess

Yeah. Online was awesome. I played 1000 plus hours. Good story too. Resistance 3 was great too.
I think this means 2020 is a good shout for PS4. There are always games being released a year or so into the new console cycle.
EA Happened

But but but.... single player games are dead! Games as a service is the future!
