The game wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for MS?... when it was being developed before the MS announcement for both consoles and PC, and published by EA? I wasn't cherry picking anything... I was looking at previous comments vs this one. Surely you can see the contradictions? There were even references to the PS4 in the game's code. MS's cash infusion basically ceased PS4 development, like it did with Rise of the TR.

According to previous reports, these guys didn't even know about the exclusivity deal between EA and MS until the announcement. I guess this was the $pecial relation$hip between MS and EA. The game was in active development for PS4 before this announcement. Without the TF bundle coupled with the Kinect-less offering, I can't imagine where the XB1 would be. Also this could have been a bigger franchise for Respawn if it was multiplatform at launch... As planned.

MS pursuing first party content is a good thing. Nobody is prefering third party deals. Sony still has first party and a lot more first party studios all making games and content. MS had nothing all year... do you just bring your XB1 out over the holidays? There are 4 games over the last 2 months alone that are not on Xbox... Ethan Carter, Rapture, GOW3, Until Dawn. Are these not games? You prefer exclusives, so did you have a PS3 last gen then? Nothing is wrong with these deals once it doesn...
The shots Sony took related to the anti-consumer practices that the MS wanted to pushed with the XB1. Don't think MS or Phil are taking shots, but if they are it's about something MS pushed and started... Tt's a model they created and still follow to this day... Agressively seeking third party support differes significantly from marketing and content deals... especially when it's to supplement a lact of first party games (Xbox and 360 era). When a company that pushes this practice and leads this trend are now shunning away, people quickly forget the part they played in the whole process and how MS changed the Industry... Yet MS still have many deals, they just have more first party now.

MS invented the 3rd model deals. COD, GTA, and so many more last gen. Now that Sony is doing it people have an issue? Look at Sonys first party last gen, and the extent of studio ownership. MS are focusing on first party because third party deals are now much harder to secure given their market share. It's a matter of position rather than choice. I love this studio and really want this game.
Why do they need a holiday line up when they can release games throughout the year? MS releases yearly IPs... getting worse with Forza and Halo. The holidays may be everything for MS, but Sony dominates with IPs throughout the year. 2016 seems to be more spread out for MS. This is a good thing.
