I am hoping to pick up the MGS 5 one. Since this is Kojima's last game and my favourite franchise, I just have to get it. I have a white and black PS4. Will trade in the white one for the MGS 5 one!
I feel like this is such a perfect game for chilling out... if that's how you want to play. So many options... and man those colours. I wonder what the music will be like. I'm hypnoised just by Sean's voice already!
The MGS franchise has always been a techinal marvel. Every game released have pushed the sytems they were on. Kojima and his team always seem to utilise or pull something more... MGS (PS1), MGS 2/3 (PS2)... etc. These all showcased great innovations in animation, environments, motion capture... How can MGS 5 run at 1080p 60fps and look so good, with such a large world, gameplay choices... It's remarkable!.

Well said. I guess they prefer BC to re-core. And I guess if Sony announced this then it would be better than FF7, Shenmue and Horizon. Its strange how Sony's exclusives and Indies don't seem to matter. Suddenly MS has first party and it now matters. People forget the last 5 years of the 360. Sony ALWAYS had first party... In droves. Quality new IPs every year too. Not rehashed announcements and marketing content deals.
Let me guess the vast majority of these sites were North American? MS's strongest market? Wonder if they held a pole for people who visit the site?
It depends on which games people prefer. I have no interest in Forza. TR and Gears yes. Does this beat the Horizon Gameplay? For me not even close. Opinions, like and dislikes. However don't show media sites as they are opinions too with mostly NA buying sentiments.
Sony showcased future games, and the future of the console. Long term support, plus many exclusives. In the PS3 era Sony had many games competing with big third party games, when MS had more exclusive content and marketing deals. Seems now MS fans have issues with this, but were fine when it was done on the 360?
Case in point TR being released the same day as Fallout 4? When TR comes to the PS4 it will not only sell more but be the better version. MS has padded their line up ...

Sony and MS had the same number of exclusives showcased at E3. Also MS showcased mostly multiplats in the 360 era, which was okay then? MS has shown Forza, Gears and Halo for the last 8 E3s. Does this still get people excited? Maybe.
The Last Guardian, FF7, Shenmue, Horizon... Games people wanted for years, plus gameplay. MS had a good show, but to say Sony showed multiplats is just ridiculous.

You do know that console sales of PS4 vs XB1 can be 4:1 in most European countries right? This is with MS having exclusive FIFA content and marketing in Europe. It'only in the UK that sales are close.
Sony has TGS and PSX, plus they have a showing at Paris Games Week. They have a lot more to show... even if it's just updates on various games shown at PSX last year.
We know what was there... most of us here saw it. This isn't list wars. Both conferences actually had the same number of games and exclusives shown. Not sure why you are weighing up the games like MS had more. It's a matter of preference. I prefer nostalgia and more interested in the New IPs showcased by both MS and Sony.
Most of those Indies are coming to the PS4. TR is also coming to PS4. Also Paris Games Week, TGS and PSX still to come. You can bet that more game...
The conference times are more North American friendly than Europe. This is could be why Xbox and EA were at the top for viewership. NA doesn't equal the world.

There is still TGS, PSX and Paris Games week. Surely there will be more announcements from Sony. Things we haven't seen and updates on many in development projects

I thought both games looked great. Yes I am more excited for Uncharted and I do think it looked better. I am not too concerned about graphics... story, gameplay, and the relationships in the Uncharted series are what draw mw in.
Plus I will still get to play TR on PS4 later on. It may ever look better on PS4 when eventually released.
