Sony trademarked software for emulation on PS4 way before backwards compatibility was announced. Was it in the plan? Did they speed it up? Who knows. Competition is good though.
I hope we get Dark Cloud, Mark of Kri and some other classics on PS2 with trophy support. Onimusha 2 with analogue stick support?Bring it!
It is an amazing show.
Yes I have played BF4. Over 500 hours logged. The single player that "no one" plays is one of the reasons that Battlefront is attacked for content wise. Both games launched with a similar amount of maps and modes. BF4 did have more weapons and more modes yes, but the overall offering wasn't much more that Battlefront.
If the argument is game play dynamics, variety and longevity of the multiplayer then that's a different argument. Battlefront also worked at ...
Shame? With full pockets? No way. Battlfield 4 didn't have much content either at launch. It just came with a single player campaign which was very minimal.
There's plenty more on PS4. It may not appeal to you, but they are much more games on PS4. They were no major releases for the XB1 for 8 months of 2016. Gaming is a year round hobby and not just holiday season. MS also had games that were remasters that were considered tent pole releases.
Watch Californication for more Camilla. Good show too
It's actually at 100 million if you factor in those who bought it digitally :) Some Halo 5 sarcasm.
We'll done Sony! The PS4 did this in 24 months, while the PS2 took 26 months. This is before black Friday!
LARA not Laura... I keep seeing and hearing this.
@Death
Dude your argument is delusional. The last shipped numbers from MS were 10 million. They stopped numbers and started with "Xbox family". Now it's live subscriptions. Knowing MS, this isn't their style at all if they doing "good". 2 months in the year doesn't close the gap built up for the previous 10. This is both in MS'a strongest markets and worldwide.
How has Halo made the PS4 irrelevant for the month? By outselling it console wise by only 28k? By releasing revenue numbers that include all transactions related to Halo? MS stopped releasing actual numbers as soon as they fell behind, not to mention the worldwide gap increasing each month and more so over the holidays.
Sony will continue to dominate for at least 10 months in the year. The holidays do not make up for this. If this is MS "best line up in Xbox history&quo...
PS4 streaming alone is worth it
It you keeo guessing things then you're bound to get something right once by the law of averages and probability.
Stating the obvious also helps.
I know. I would love this too!
The Gap is apparently 28K (according to GAF). Small condsidering the Halo, Forza and GeOW bundles. MS were expected to win given that this is their BIGGEST game. If they didn't then that would have been goodbye to the US market.
I believe the PS4 will take Nov and December easily, unless MS does another "temporary" price drop and fire sales like last holidays.
It's not only a "few days" for Halo or the bundle. Preorders were available since August for both, so sales for Oct are included in these pre-orders.
Similarly the preorders for the Sony Nov bundles will only count towards Nov. That's how NPD works. Sony will no doubt take Nov and possibly Dec. It is expected that MS wins with a NEW Halo Game and bundle. The gap is apparently 28K this month (according to GAF), which is very small considering the games MS...
Imagine if they made Savage Starlight (Ellie's comic in TLOU)
@Tobsesan
You do know that the $400 million in revenue included bundles, merch and micro transactions yes? That it is not individual game sales at retail? The bundle alone was $400.
I believe a lot of people are holding off for Nov and Black Friday deals in Nov. This will be the big month for both consoles.
The numbers are not "just a few days". The weeks of pre orders all add up to launch day. It's like pre-orders for the Xbox One console went live in August. All thouse addd up in October Sales.
I really liked this game. Many complain about the gameplay and story structure but I enjoyed most of what I played. Yes there are faults, but it's a solid 7/10. Heavy Rain and Fahrenheit were better in my opinion. Definitely playing through this again.
