Seriously? The source is a listing on Amazon? Yea, I'll pass til PD tells me something.
Other than that, I do kind of expect it to hit this holiday season. Just makes too much sense. It's either tha tor hold it off til like summer next year. 'Cause you don't want to have any of your other exclusive games having to 'compete' with GT5. December sounds like a good time to me. However, NOT the 29th. It would make much more sense to release BEFORE the holidays, not after.
You keep thinking that JOY. We're not talking about the bogeyman here. We're talking about monopolies here or oligopolies. It's clear that MS has a plan here, a plan to take over a huge chunk of the advertising market. In other words to control what ads people see. That's a problem. It's all the same as how people complain about the media outlet really being controlled by just a few corporations. Thus, the news here in the states is biased because it's ran by these people by their agenda, bec...
I agree with that to an extent. There are a few games here and there that show off some great physics. However, you're right that seemingly everything has taken a backseat to graphics these days. And I'm not sure how much of a leap graphics can take anymore, at least anytime soon. Sure it can get better, but any huge increase just won't happen anytime soon. Instead, they do need to take this time to start improving on other elements like physics, and start concentrating and making games be ce...
I agree, I was a bit disappointed hearing that about Trine. I'm curious to try that game out. But quite honestly, Fat Princess is finally here and that makes this week more than worth it. I'll definitely be picking that up Thursday. Can't wait.
Agreed. This is pretty pathetic. Obviously, this "community" isn't going to reap anything from this stunt. And there are definitely workarounds for IW if they choose to make a MW4 down the road. So at the end of the day, they've accomplished nothing. Lame.
I'm with you qface, I don't like MS's insistence upon buying up all they can in certain realms. And I'm not really sure I like this 'project' Microsoft is on right now. This news, coupled with their pushing Bing, add in the whole news a while back about them seeking to gain control over TV ads and tap into "targeted TV ads". Seriously, this could get ugly if Microsoft fully realizes the plan that they seemingly are out to accomplish: complete control over ads. I'm sure I'm going to ...
I'm curious to see how much (if any) censoring this game gets when it comes here to the US. I mean, undoubtedly, a game like this would have to warrant an AO rating right? And if that's the case, has there EVER been an AO game actually make it to a console with that AO rating? I mean, I know there were a couple that were rated AO in production, but got edited to slide down to the M-rating before they released, but have any actually made it to retail here in the US with the AO rating still (we...
Don't worry about richter, guys. He's also agent_quaid aka frostyhudson who is on a personal vendetta to "keep me in line" by trolling anything I submit and reporting it all and take away bubbles and such (he even admitted this to me in a PM). So I wouldn't listen to him.
On topic: This is a pretty good game. And it's pretty crazy, so should be interesting to see what mods come of this now that the SDK is released.
This isn't the open zone, so I'm going to PM you with my thoughts. But this is truly sad how you're now tracking and trolling me after first crying and ignoring and blocking me. NOBODY here would agree with you that this is a duplicate story. Plain and simple.
I hope to god that you and richter aren't the same.
That being said, let's go over this one more time: A duplicate article is one that reveals the exact same news as another article already submitted. Being as the "news" of this article is the opinion on a game from GamersTemple, then there is no way there could be a duplicate of this unless somebody submitted this exact same review (in which case I would've have been able to submit it cuz the system would have recogni...
Wow. I'm not even going to point out how ignorant that comment is.
I kind of agree with that. Though, you say that like you didn't like Fallout 3. I enjoyed it quite a bit, though. But this game is seeming like it's going kind of the Fallout path, but can quite possibly surpass it and fulfill some of the untapped potential that Fallout 3 had. So I'm definitely looking forward to this, will definitely be picking it up.
lol That actually made me laugh. All those weapons at your disposal and choosing not to use any of them. That would be funny.
That hurts me to think about. Especially since I'm a perfectionist/completionist when it comes to this kind of stuff. For instance, in Fallout 3, I wouldn't rest til I had one of everyone single weapon type in my locker. Plus all the special weapons, plus one of each of the weapons you can build all upgraded max.
Of course with this game, if they are all stuff like "model gun w/silencer", "model gun with scope", then I can at least get away without doing some...
I'm with you on that sentiment. Initially, I had people keep telling me "GamesCom isn't big. Never has been. Nothing big is going to happen there.", but I was like Leipzig isn't happening, and it's because of this. So, obviously it's going to be big this year if they've taken all support from Leipzig and this is replacing it this year. I'm excited about it and definitely expect some big things from there this year. Should be interesting too, because it's in that "middle battleg...
lol I would pay to see Tazz-vs-Scorpion or Bugs Bunny-vs-Khameleon or Scooby and Shaggy-vs-Goro.
On a more serious note, unfortunately, this is the kind of stuff I see the Mortal Kombat franchise being reduced to from here on out (maybe Looney Tunes vs Mortal Kombat is an exaggeration but you get the point).
This game actually sounds pretty awesome. I really enjoyed echochrome and this is a very nice idea to expand the puzzler series. Shame it's only PSP though.
Agreed. With all the stuff Activision has been pulling of late, they really should have it stuck to them. This pricing issue could be the straw that broke the camel's back so to speak and a chance to voice our discouragement. I think ideally I'd like to see everybody either skip this game or buy it used (of course not EVERYONE can buy it used or there wouldn't be any used copies), but I do understand the sentiment that that would be punishing IW too. As a way to address the UK price issue, th...
Wow, seriously? There's a single-player mode? Somehow that escaped me. I was always under the assumption it's just like an online-only game. That variety could make this even more awesome. I'll definitely be picking this up this Thursday.
This doesn't surprise me too much. SOCOM is great and has a big (and dedicated) following. To think, it would be even more active without the release fiasco as well. Cause I'm sure that scared plenty away that haven't come back yet. They should though, now that it's all fixed up, it's an amazing game. I love the tactical feel of SOCOM. And the fanbase of SOCOM just makes it that much better. They (we) have a real passion for the game and we know there's no tactical shooter like it out there. ...
