Me too. I can't wait for it either. And that's saying alot too, because I'm definitely more of a single-player gamer (hell the only other multi-player game I'm excited about, or have been excited about is MAG--actually add SOCOM to that too. Even the multiplayer of UC2 is meh to me, I just want the single-player part). This game looks like alot of fun though. I've really liked what I've seen so far. Looks like it could be lots of fun. While I wish they'd hurry up and get this out, I would muc...
^The Lincoln Repeater? That's what I used all the time and it wasn't even fair by time I was like halfway through the game. All but invincible out there, especially with being such a good long-range attacker. The only part that would ever suck a lil bit was if had a couple Deathclaws run up on me and get close-range.
About this news? I don't care either way. They lost me when they made me wait all that time for stuff like this anyways. I mean I'll probably buy future Bethesda ga...
Holy sh*t, I haven't laughed that hard in a while. When I read people saying Patton up there was probably the writer, I just figured it to be fanatics overreacting (like is common on here). Then I ventured to take a peek at that site. Lo and behold, there it is: author is Jack Patton. LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I mean seriously, that might be the saddest thing I've ever seen. Praising his own review as he tries to pretend he's not the same person. That, coupled with the "my reputation as a ...
I think that's a very nice take on Home there. I feel the same way. Sure I've had plenty of fun there. I've also met tons of cool people on there. However, I'm not going to be going there everyday (and I don't). Granted there are sometimes when I'll spend lots of time there, going almost everyday, for a period of time (like when Xi kicked off and I was there quite a bit), but then that will be countered with times that I don't go there for several weeks in a row. It would actually get really ...
I'm with most of you, how come Socomnick is even allowed to read the gamer zone, let alone post in it. I've NEVER seen anything that contributed in any way to the conversation come from him. Like.....EVER.
On topic: I agree with DMason's point. MAG released beside MW2 could be truly brutal for MAG. Especially in such a crowded season. It makes sense, to me, that they push it back to next year. This really needs to be a title they put out there on it's own because it's going to n...
Agreed, if only Uncharted 2 comes out as the only exclusive left, still been a great year for PS3 exclusives.
@GEC
that truly is a really good list when you look at it
@iHEART
I'm with you, definitely looking forward to Demon's Souls as well.
Plus that doesn't even include the multiplat games I want, especially Arkham Asylum. And gotta have Fat Princess too.
oh and CRAB, what you've heard it right, SOCOM (once they got it fixed up after...
Uncharted 2 I think is on everybody's list of MUST-have. Definitely on mine, too. I have to add that Demon's Souls I'm definitely getting as well. As for the other high profile games: I still haven't got around to ToD, so Crack in Time isn't that high a priority. And I'm not much into Ninja Gaiden, so that can pass by and I won't mind either. Will also definitely be getting Fat Princess when it finally comes out too. Plus got a few multiplats on my must-have list like Arkham Asylum and Alpha ...
@N4P
I kind of agree with you, but this isn't Sony's fault. This is just people being overzealous and just wishful thinking. Some of it innocent and some of it, yes, just fanboys beating their chest so to speak. As for that list, GOW should have been a given that it would come March next year, anybody who was claiming different was just fooling themselves and getting too excited that logic escaped them or something. Last Guardian? If somebody thought that was coming this year then just ...
First off, since most of you won't make it through this wall of text, lelt me start by statin my opinion. Both lineups are good, and more than adequate. It's all a matter of personal taste at this point to decide which one appeals to you more. For me, I personally don't want anything on the 360 side except Conviction (especially since GT5 isn't that far off so no desire for Forza either), and the PS3 side is definitely looking good for me. And I'll be more than happy with my PS3 exclusives an...
Seriously. I mean I've heard alot about the graphics on this game, but I've probably heard just as much about the storytelling of this game and the gameplay and all that other stuff as well. Smoke and mirrors? I'd hardly think so. Only about the graphics? Not hardly.
When you get to the part of the submission that has where you can put the description, just under that you'll see "Add Video". Click that and paste the embedding code into that box. And make sure you have the embed code that's right under the video on the site, it's not the URL that you use.
Agreed. I felt like a giddy schoolgirl when I read that title. I've been seriously hoping for a sequel ever since I finished the game. I was a bit disappointed when I read that it's not PS3, but PSP instead. However, I'm lucky that my roommate does have a PSP (as I just don't see myself buying one), so it's still possible for me to play this. I can't wait. Valkyria Chronicles has been my second favorite game this gen (behind Uncharted).
@LetsGame
I agree, man. This game is amazing. I absolutely love it. One of the best games I played last year? Hell, one of the best games I've played this gen (probably comes in 2nd for me) and maybe one of the greater ones of all-time. It truly is a shame this game doesn't get more attention and is criminally overlooked.
@Marius
I played the demo and wasn't all that impressed either. I mean it wasn't bad, but it didn't strike me as a stand-out game either (other than...
@Deaf
I hope to god English isn't your first language.
@Wiimaniac
I agree. I see that alot too, drivel about "oh PS3 is only good for crunching numbers, let's see number-crunching made into a good game". It's sad really.
Since this is all in the open zone I guess it can slide, so I'm not going to get in arguments over fanboy stuff. On that note, in the spirit of the open zone, I do have to say NOSTALGIC, that FF pic made me seriously laugh. That was funny.
It is about encryption. Like, security in computers...mainframes. They do things like this to test encyption methods and standards to check how secure the system is. Basically this says the PS3 (the cell) is a beast when it comes to hacking (though of course they're not promoting hacking, just testing the security).
This is concerning encryption/cryptography people. Thus, security. Essentially meaning the ps3 is a beast at hacking.
Yep, about as "mest" up as your literacy.
On topic: does this really suprise people? I mean this isn't like a new SKU or a chopped-down slim. This is essentially a new piece of hardware. Of course, Sony is going to try its hand at selling it for a initial high price.
Except he's black. And if you were going to go with a black guy, hands-down it would be Djimon Hounsou. Especially with David Jaffe saying he wouldn't want anybody else but Djimon to play Kratos.
No matter which way you go (and that's with anything), you're always going to have somebody complaining. That's just the way it is. Can't please everyone, and people are going to b*tch just to b*tch.
