Epic screwed up on Gears of War 2 just as much as Slant 6 screwed up on Socom. These great franchises have produced broken games.
For those of you who are playing MAG beta, are the controls something of a concern? Is it true that you have to press 2 buttons before you throw the grenade?
While I don't play Killzone 2 as much as I used to after unlocking all the classes, I still see a lot of players online to this day (both with rank restriction and without restriction).
I can't say the same about Resistance 2.
I agreed with every game on that list. I love my PS3 and its exclusives, but the games on that list weren't great. Resistance 1 was a classic. Resistance 2 never lived up to the first game. It became an arcade shooter in which the online versus mode was a chaotic mess, wave after wave of respawns until the match ended. I did however enjoy the world that was created in the game. That was its strongest point.
Unfortunately that's all we'll be doing in the game: sniping. It's a snipefest.
Who would want to spend time talking to your TV screen at an imaginary boy or girl? Am I the only one who thinks this is a bit creepy (almost on a pedophile level)?
I only agree with some of your comments. I do agree that the game needs a mini map/radar of everyone on their own team. Its scope can be much smaller than all the other shooters out there. But it's still necessary to have one in order to coordinate movement with your teammates. It's impossible to keep track of where your teammates are going. It's not impossible in real life because our real viewpoint is much larger than our TV/screen.
I only encountered the spawn problem a few ti...
WTF are you talking about? LOL
I can't decide which to spend next year playing. I already know I don't want to play MW2. One advantage MAG has is that it'll provide dedicated servers, while BC2 is most likely hosted by one of the players.
Another Microsoft employee's gaming site? LoL.
The Xbox 360 Repair shop in Nashville told me it would have cost Microsoft a whooping 19 cents per machine to slightly alter the components to prevent the RROD.
And for all those who defend Microsoft, what a load of crap. Go ahead and stand behind a failed piece of hardware that I paid over $400 at launch.
It makes melee kills obsolete.
As much as I like those games, I don't think it's as necessary as remastering/rereleasing God of War I and II. The games mentioned in the article are not part of any trilogy. The upcoming Last Guardian doesn't require any familiarity with the background story, while God of War III can be much more appreciated with the background knowledge of God of War I and II.
But I'll be there to buy those games if they do decide to rerelease them in high definition. =D
I'm a PS360 owner, not a Sony fanboy. ;-)
Does anybody know anything about the Martyrdom perk in Uncharted 2? Is it as annoying/cheap as the one in COD?
Can someone tell me if the 'revenge attribute' is as annoying as martyrdom in COD? That pretty much eliminated melee kills in COD. Same annoying effect in Uncharted 2? I haven't been able to get the beta/demo yet. Any help is appreciated.
Am I the only one who is a bit concerned that Naughty Dog decided to include revenge attribute to the online play? (also known as martyrdom). It pretty much makes melee kills obsolete.
You mean it's the console of expansion packs. First they buy out exclusive DLC. Now they're charging $60 per DLC. Way to go 360.
Of course it's not necessary to install on the hard drive, with sub HD graphics and ridiculously short campaign. I wanted to buy the map disc by itself for a cheaper price.
He probably wanted to play something as easy as Marvel Ultimate Alliance lol.
