It's their only piece, not center piece. And this is coming from a 360 owner. I always felt Gears of War was overrated (and buggy). L4D was on the PC for me, even though I rarely play PC games.

LOL how did I get a disagree? Because 3.6 score truly isn't bad? HAHA.

3.6? Ouch that's gotta hurt. I didn't know scores could go that low.

I agree. It was a haze problem I saw in Bad Company 1.

I wonder if BC2 will have dedicated servers on either 360 or PS3. I always felt like I consistently ran into bad servers with BC 1.

I found the story to be boring and forgettable. Missions got tiring quickly after 50% of the game.

Game mechanics were awesome. It was realistic, it allowed you to be a stalker, and was one of the few games that made it feel rewarding to actually plan out your attacks without boring you with meticulous technical details of execution.

But the best thing the game had above any and every other game is the environment. There isn't a game with an environment that's more a...

There is nothing in MW2 that makes me purchase it over MAG. I've owned COD5 (W@W) on both 360 and PS3 before. The 360 version always kicks me out of the lobby at the end of every game. No dedicated servers? No thank you.

I'd rather have a more populated PSN community, even if it includes annoying teens. More games going on, more servers, more folks to shoot. ;-) Plus it will help sustain online communities for each game for a longer duration. If we had a smaller PSN community, the same folks will flock from game to game upon release, thus making the online community for previous games obsolete. I'll get to enjoy online play for older games a lot longer with a larger community.

I think the benefit...

Squad leaders will have to follow platoon leaders commands. And platoon leaders will have to follow the guy on top.

You can't switch sides since once you pick a faction (of the three), you stay with them.

Doom. Dead Space. Bioshock.

I can't believe GTA is on that list. The world has survived GTA urban cities before.

Would you rather have a generic 3rd person shooter that ends in less than 8 hours? Give me a break. Hideo is pushing the limits of gaming, blurring the boundaries between a video game and a cinematic experience. He doesn't get enough credit.

MGS4 was what made the entire franchise epic. It told the story of an entire universe, not just one episode. It outshined MGS 1, 2, and 3 combined (no easy task). What I also like about Hideo's style is that he's willing to be at the bleeding edge of technology to create that fantastic universe. So many loose ends were tied together in MGS4. If the plot was any simpler, it would have been boring and predictable.

You can't argue that GTA series was probably one of the most successful game franchises in history, even if it wasn't everyone's cup of tea. I'm surprised that The Sims series, Madden or Fifa series, or Gran Turismo series aren't on that list somewhere. Whether you like it or not, you can't deny how popular they were.

That's not a bright comment. Simply turn on and off the high precision mode and you can see the difference. If the new patch simply wiped out the previous controls and not let us make the comparison by turning on/off, I might agree that it could be a placebo effect. But your statement resounds with complete ignorance if you are unable to test the controls after turning the high precision mode on/off.

Killzone is more tactical than COD, but I wouldn't call it a tactical game. Still a fragfest to me with a million choke points on every level. And I do think that prior to the high precision patch, the game had a strong delay. I have way too many friends who tried the demo, couldn't stand the deadzone delay (and they're not even halo/COD fans), and decided not to buy the game. It was GG's loss, really.

I thought that with the patch, the game became great. Deadzone is different th...

@ paul0388

Saying I'm wrong without offering any evidence is counterproductive. I've played the original Operation Flashpoint on my PC back in the day. If I was buying OF2: Dragon Rising for my PC (which allows 16vs16), I would consider getting this. But I'm no longer a PC gamer. I play on both PS3 and Xbox360. I've been following all the videos, interviews, and press releases since Dragon Rising's first announcement.

It's already well-known that the maximum amount o...

Operation Flashpoint is only 4 vs 4 on the consoles! And you spend 90% of the time sniping. As 'realistic' as that may be, a game that's primarily only sniping gets boring fast.
