Does anyone know if this game supports bluetooth keyboard/mouse on the PS3? I no longer have a PC game system.
After seeing the crappy graphics of dead civilians all over the floor: no thank you.
They are great games. But buggy due to lazy developers. I haven't played RB6V2 in awhile to remember all the bugs, but one of them was the ability to jump outside a number of maps and shoot through walls into the map at other players.
My AI teammates would occasionally freeze in some maps, esp in the parking garage near the puddle of water and van. The AI sometimes didn't even follow orders. Great games, lazy developers.
And I would dare say that Ubisoft Montreal has...
Gears of War franchise died in my heart when they released Gears of War 2. Sorry, but it was waaaay too buggy even to this day on multiplayer. It never lived up to the first Gears of War.
The Uncharted franchise improved, not regressed, to epic proportions.
Whatever. Let's hope their new game won't be buggy as hell like a lot of their previous games. Far Cry 2 didn't get fixed until 1 year after release. Not to mention the multiplayer bugs in Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Ubisoft has taken some great franchises and trashed them with lazy development or poor support.
Was this captured from a standard resolution TV or something? The graphics look like it's running Rainbox Six from 5 years ago or something.
Honest question: If the developers don't own the IP, who does? The publisher? So is it true that Ratchet & Clank sequels cannot ever be made multiplat? I'm just wondering how did the FF13 end up being multiplat? I'm pretty sure Sony published several of the previous FF games. I don't understand the legality too much. Any explanations would be welcomed.
The best idea I can come up with regarding matchmaking is set it up like drafting for fantasy football. Order all 10 players from highest rank to lowest rank. Then snake them alternately in each team. For example:
The ten players are ranked 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2.
Team A Team B
20 18
14 16
12 10
6 8
4 2
Things get hairy when squads/parties are formed. I'd say do the same thing but...
Dedicated servers not really necessary for a 5v5 game. Just my opinion though.
While I think your idea is good, I feel that if it was implemented, a lot of people would start exploiting it. They'd quit before getting killed, then rejoin to respawn, etc.
That's why I'm going to wait a few months after release before buying MAG. All the free-for-all-run-n-gunners will get tired of MAG by then, since the objective/tactical gameplay will eventually bore them. A few months after release, only the dedicated teamwork players will remain.
There I got it off my chest. Didn't mean to shout at anyone in particular. Hearing people sh!t talk is still better than forcing everyone to listen to your bad music tastes.
I got nothing against rap music. But I hate bad rap music, esp when it sounds like crap over the bluetooth headset.
God of War Collection is remastered in high def. HIGH DEF. Something Infinity Ward doesn't comprehend.
There is nothing old tech or laggy about Uncharted 2 or MAG. Have you even played the beta? I have.
Are they not confident of the reviews when the game gets released or something? Talk about screwing their customers over.
Why not just rent? You can easily finish this game in one weekend and spend the rest of your days playing uncharted 2's multiplayer lol.
Yup I'll abandon MW2. I'll be playing Uncharted2 and God of War Collection until MAG rolls around in January.
Let's just hope Uwe Boll isn't directing the film!!!
Just to clarify, on PC I played the other games in the franchise. On all three systems I had no lag problems.
The mic problem was patched for the PS3 and it works fine. I can't say the same about BF1943 on the PS3 though, but that's a $15 game.
Had no problems on either console and PC.
They better not release this in 2010. Leave some room for Insomniac and Resistance 3. We're still playing Killzone 2.
