Nintendo is just milking their customers by charging nearly $100 for every accessory they sell. Why not sell better games for their system instead of forcing their customers to buy more and more additional accessories just to use their Wii? Next thing you know, we'll be having the Wii Bench Press, the Wii Elliptical, the Wii Rowing Machine, the Wii Pec Deck, etc.
I rented it too. I'd give this game a 6.5/10. It's similar to Need for Speed Shift in that it's not realistic enough (for the hardcore military buff like myself), but not arcade-y enough to appeal to the casual gamer. The entire game is a slow moving snipefest with stupid AI.
I think they're holding themselves back to let Uncharted 2 get the spotlight during its release. From what I can tell, it seems like they're still heavily modifying MAG before its public beta/demo release.
So if there's going to be a video game involving MJ, how would they render his looks? What he looked like in the 70s? or 80s? or 90s? or this past decade? That's tough for the developers!
It's certainly being planned for more than just gaming. It's being planned for the pedophile market. Who the heck wants to talk to your TV screen at a fake little boy??

I caved in and preordered ODST. I think a 7 is a fair score. It was solid, but short and expensive for $60. It should have remained as an expansion rather than a full retail game.

I am a big fan of DMC too. That's why I was a little disappointed so far with Bayonetta. But maybe the final game will end up being better than what I've already seen.
Maybe the Japanese actually take RROD into account when making their purchases, unlike we Americans lol.

I played the demo, thank you. There is no reason to get defensive about this game. It's not that great.
I find it ridiculous that a killing witch needs to walk around with glasses and less than perfect vision. It doesn't matter if she looks like Sarah Palin or not. The glasses are ridiculous! It's like putting glasses on Ryu from Ninja Gaiden or on Kratos from God of War.

You are right. The only thing going for this game is its sexual + action appeal. I find it silly that an assassin or whatever she's called has less than 20/20 vision. Perhaps the developers were riding on the whole Sarah Palin thing.
It's usually dependent on the game engine. And most developers who design game engines make sure they work on all three platforms (PC, 360, and PS3). PC has traditionally been easier, so the focus is on that one. 360's architecture is similar to PC, so that's why the 360 usually benefits from multiplat games. Plus it's more logical for a developer to spend more time optimizing their engine to work on two similar platforms (PC & 360) and then port to the third platform (PS3), rather than o...

As much as I love games on across both major platforms (360 and PS3), I'd have to hand it to the guys at Halo and Infinity Ward for making the best commercials/marketing. They really do make you feel like a badass.
I said it from the get-go that this game won't be great. All the fanboys started getting on my case for it, calling me a COD or Halo gunner.
I really don't care if they have Natal support or not as long as I can disable it and use my controller. I'd also like more ONLINE support to fix all the buggy issues with Gears of War 2. Bring it back to the roots of Gears of War 1, the true epic game of 360.
Killzone 2 single player is uninspiring, but gorgeous with great enemy AI. Voice acting was a bit too over the top, esp our AI companions.
Killzone 2 multiplayer was great with a few flaws. I don't like the fact that I need to switch to ALT 2 if I want to play online multiplayer, but ALT 2 is useless in single player because it's impossible to use the cover button + zoom + shoot.
The controls stopped bothering me after they released the patch to address the deadzone....
