MAG is indeed incredible. It looks generic because the graphics aren't as good as Killzone 2 or Uncharted 2. But the gameplay is amazing. Setting objectives for your squad or following orders to complete a mission is incredible in MAG. It's impossible to play it like Rambo because teamwork is essential. Winning or losing really depends on the squad leadership. It's the first shooter that actually feels like full out war, esp near the end of the battle when all the squads/platoons start focusi...
Who needs Modern Warfare when you have these 3 letters: MAG.
MAG is awesome. It has a steeper learning curve than COD games. But if you play it for at least 3+ hours, you'll love the game after you understand what's going on. Probably the best FPS this generation so far. No more pointless killing. You kill because the guy is in your way to complete the objective.
The developers really need to spend time on their 'training' mode for newcomers. Otherwise a lot of people will dump the game after being confused for the first hour or two.
Highly unlikely unless Sony bought the IP to Call of Duty. Otherwise the sequels would have gone multiplatform regardless if the initial games were Sony exclusive.
I'd never buy 360 used. 3 year warranty does NOT transfer on used purchases. Given how bad the RROD was, you'd never know the true age of the console you're getting if it's used.
There was an article that compared review scores by different major gaming sites. Supposedly IGN always overrates their scores compared to the flock, while Gamespot tends to agree the most with the other reviews. Edge and Eurogamer tend to underrate PS3 exclusives while overrates 360 exclusives.

Well I certainly don't have that much heat against David Jaffe. I just get annoyed with all these articles on 'Whats David Jaffe doing next??!' as if it's some sort of Where's Waldo adventure. He hasn't released a game in nearly three years (unless you count the PS2, then its 2 years). For a guy who blogs a lot, he sure doesn't do much work.
They really had no reason to have messed up servers considering that they're not even dedicated servers. And I'm talking about Infinity Ward, not PSN.

Dude you guys, I'm not dissing Uncharted 2. My original statement implies that I think it should sell up to 10 million copies instead of Modern Warfare 1.5.
I just don't get why PS3 owners don't buy this game as much as other shooters.
You sound like you haven't played the beta.
You will hate the first 2 hours because you will feel lost, confused, uninspired, and directionless. That's because you haven't understood the game. It has a steeper learning curve than most shooters, which will turn off a lot of casual gamers who want to simply pick up and play.
After 2 hours, you will love the game. It has so much depth to the gameplay and strategy at all levels. It's not a big massacre like the 64 player...
