OMG I can't decide between this game or MAG!
My problem with Killzone 2 was the fact that they removed cover from the multiplayer. If they did that, then they should have removed cover from the campaign mode. By having one mode include cover system while the other mode doesn't, the entire gameplay has changed. And what's worse was the fact that we had to change control layout if we switch from campaign mode to multiplayer (or vice versa).

Don't use snowy environment as an excuse! Just look at the interior shots and bland interior textures. The computer, desk, and wall look like we jumped 5 years backward in technology.
It's hard for nintendo because you're not going to see that much of an improvement in HD resolutions with Nintendo games. Bright, colorful cartoonish graphics don't really benefit from HD resolutions. I'm not bashing Nintendo. I respect their style and the success they've had from cartoonish graphics that appeal to all ages including adults. I'm going to wait until people finish the game for sure before I buy my copy of Assassin's Creed II. The huge bug in Far Cry 2 (also from Ubisoft Montreal) left the majority of players unable to finish the game for a full year before the patch was released. And when it was released, players can't continue where they left off. They had to start all over. What I want to know is: is this game as repetitive as the first Assassin's Creed? Nobody seems to really be addressing this.
Is this list really necessary? I love my PS3 games but having a top 100 PS3 games is 1/3 of the PS3 games available. The PS3 has 300 games in its library.
Nintendo just releases the same games over and over with a little variety. How many more mario karts and mario tennis and mario soccer do we need?
Live just has a more intuitive interface. To me, that doesn't justify an annual subscription. The features offered on live, but not on PS3, don't justify the annual cost (facebook, twitter, etc). It's a pain to use those sites on anything other than a PC.
I own both systems. Gears 2 was buggy and laggy. None of the major gaming sites docked points for such a problematic online experience that still exists to this day. If that isn't bias, I don't know what is.

I need to know whether this game is repetitive or not like some of the other popular RPG franchises. I thought Oblivion and Fallout were very repetitive, yet got overrated scores.

No proof to back up that statement. I'm sure the review sites would have mentioned that if HDD installation did improve textures, but they didn't. The ONLY article that mentioned anything about HDD installation optimization was a blog entry posted before the game's release. I've never even heard of a game that improves its graphics upon installation on the 360. Framerate maybe. Loading times yes. Graphics? I don't think so unless you can post reliable sources.
I too was debating on which platform to get, whether it's 360 or PS3. I was hoping that Bioware would add keyboard/mouse support on the PS3.
This game is just as arcade-ish as Unreal Tournament. The gameplay is as basic as it gets. There's no reason why it should have sub-par graphics when everything else going on in the game has been happening in CS nearly 10 years ago.
And no I've been gaming for well over 20 years.
