I completely agree with Mastiffchild. Everyone forgives ODST's and COD's short campaigns, while a 12 hour campaign for Uncharted 2 is considered too short?

ODST was one of the most ridiculous $60 games on the market. In my town, everyone is trying to sell the campaign disc for $30 on craigslist while keeping the map disc to themselves.

As much as I love the Halo franchise, I do agree that it takes a lot less to get high scores on 360 games, while games on the PS3 are required to break new ground in order to get the same scores as 360 games. It's really absurd.

I just don't get it. Microsoft just milks the same old franc...

Ignored by 41. 'nuff said.

I'm glad. Sony really needs to boost their marketing and it seems like they're starting to get the ball rolling in that department.

Mass Effect 2 is probably the only 360 exclusive (I'm not going to factor in PC) that I'm looking forward to this coming year. The first one had an amazing story.

To tell you the truth, I'm not that surprised. It's understandable to buy NFS if you only own a PS3. I'm skipping on NFS and buying Forza 3 for my 360 until GT5 comes out in Spring.

I'm that hooked to Halo. ;-)

And no, after finishing the short campaign, I don't think it was worth it.

Call it whatever you like. I'm stating my opinion and so far you haven't countered it very well except getting defensive about it or making silly accusations of not owning it (both getting nowhere).

I do own a 360 LOL. Why are you so ridiculously upset? It's quite amusing. I don't agree with Microsoft's corporate practices, including releasing GOTY editions of games that never won GOTY!

I bought and played ODST through my local Gamestop. Microsoft could have lowered its price from the get-go, but didn't. Yes I do complain that the game was too expensive. And I do complain about the price drop within one week after release. It has nothing to do with contradicting between a hi...

Great incentive from Microsoft: PRE-ORDER OUR GAMES SO WE CAN RAPE YOUR WALLET INSTEAD OF GIVING YOU BENEFITS! I'll never pre-order my 360 games again if they're going to price drop in less than a week.

I just like the gameplay in Bad Company much more than in MW. Kill after kill in MW with no strategy involved.

I do have that combo. And I'm not happy with my RROD.

There seems to be a glasses-fetish going on in this game. It's a bit silly that the protagonist, who is a killer/fighter, doesn't have perfect vision. I mean they don't even accept people with anything less than 20/20 into law enforcement.

Am I the only one who thinks the voice acting seems a bit over the top?

Is this game that hard? I don't know much about it but I'm definitely going to rent it before buying it just to see whether I like it or not. But everywhere I read, people keep talking about dying a lot and the game's difficulty. How hard can it really be?

Please hand my a$$ to me, thank you.

Why is it that any time a game seems slow, the fanboys jump up and scream in defense, 'we're using our brains!' Do you guys actually need that much time to pass before your brains turn on? You guys act like the most elite military units that operate on speed and surprise don't use their brains.

xc7x stated a valid reason. We've moved on from SNES almost 20 years ago. There are more factors involved with purchasing a $60 game other than seeing Mario & co.

It's not for the run and gun at heart.

It's for the campers and snipers at heart.

I'll probably end up getting this game on PC, not on either my 360 or PS3. The consoles have only 4vs4. The only problem I find with this game: 90% of the action involves sniping. Snipefest games get boring fast. Before everyone starts spouting about how I don't know anything about realistic military warfare, I was a Marine during the first wave of Afghanistan invasion.

A large, open environment with so few online players supported on the consoles, with sniping or countersniping ...

Most of the comments prove that nobody reads the articles on N4G before spouting their mouths off. And that was exactly the author's intention.

This game is not for the Halo or COD players.

It's for the campers and snipers.

Is that because Xbox Live depends entirely on P2P LOL!

You assume too much. I switch between T1 and DSL depending on where I live (military life). In both cases, Gears 2 was buggy online. And I don't know why people don't address the fact that COD:WAW always kick 360 users out of the lobby after every other game. My 40+ friends on Xbox Live share the same problem.

Getting that type of service while paying $50 per year is rape by Microsoft.
