It shouldn't be a list of controversial reviews. It should be a list of controversial review sites. The top two that come to mind: Edge and Destructoid. At least Eurogamer's review scores are still within reasonable standard deviation from the overall average scores of major gaming review sites. But Edge and Destructoid consistently fall off the chart for being consistently biased. Someone already proved it with statistics.

Dude destructoid said Assassin's Creed 2's graphics is worse than Assassin's Creed 1's graphics. That statement alone tells me how blind destructoid is.

Destructoid: The Activision of gaming journalism.

Shows you that Epic was lying all along with their "next gears will be on the next platform".

Wow Microsoft can say that about anything really.

WiFi absence key to 360 outselling PS3.
First party absence key to 360 outselling PS3.
RROD key to 360 outselling PS3 (used cheaper parts!).
etc.

As long as they all match up to the quality of the original trilogy. How can anyone complain if we get 20 epic God of War games?

If we didn't have more than 3 games in any given franchise, we wouldn't be blessed with the greatest game of this generation: MGS4.

The problem with other franchises is that the spinoffs have all sucked. For some reason, I find it hard to believe that Sony Santa Monica would produce anything less than stellar, even if it's their 20th game....

Sounds typical of EA. After Activision turned into the Devil, everyone somehow started loving EA. I think that was a serious mistake. I bought and played Army of Two 40th day. That game is STILL broken. All the reports of EA's problems with Bad Company 2 on its forums look eerily similar to what I've previously experienced with EA.

tripewire, apparently you did not read his comment. He did not state anything about what is mandatory or not. He is concerned about any unfair advantages that would be given to the sony move players against those who do not own one. Since it's not mandatory, that would mean matches would consist of some players having the sony Move while others do not. I think it's a valid concern, although I don't think it will be a serious problem.

The nice thing about playing consoles is that the person I'm playing against online is 90% of the time using the same controller as I am, not a keyboard & mouse. It's an unfair disadvantage to 360 gamers if they're playing an online shooter against a point & click PC gamer. I have no problems with keyboard & mouse, but it needs to stay in the PC realm where the ground is even.

The lawsuit is to win the royalty fees from Activision. The lawsuit is NOT contesting the ownership of the franchise. So whether co-founders of IW win this lawsuit or not, the franchise is still owned by Activision.

My real gripe with the new health system changes is that they effectively made some of the unique features of the game absolutely useless. For example, there is no point to roll away from enemy gunfire. You'd still end up dead. There is no real point to climb vertically anymore because you're just an easy target by doing so.

Dude it's simple business strategy. Release an extremely crappy OS that had zero development costs (vista) and then follow it up barely a few years later with a viable product (win 7). Everyone will jump ship.

But because of Vista's crappiness, a lot of folks jumped ship to the mac as well...

I have a phat PS3 here, bought in January '09. No problems here. I was playing GoW collection and MW2 up till an hour ago without problems. I guess only launch phat PS3s are affected?

And that says a lot.

Another stupid article from destructoid.

I like this gun, but in BC2 I'm sure it will be ammo limited unlike 1943. Given this, I'm not sure how much I'll like it in BC2.

Another stupid article or blog entry from destructoid. Are you guys seriously giving them hits? This site is worse than HHG.

Apparently you guys didn't pick up the buggy and lag-fested Army of Two: 40th day.

I'll give nods to DICE, but EA is anything but holy.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Developers and publishers should stop complaining about used games. When we buy other items brand new, there's an incentive. Usually the incentive is warranty, additional services, manufacturer support, extra freebies, etc. The minute I peel off the shrink wrap from the game, I get zero support even if I bought it brand new.

PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INCENTIVE TO BUY BRAND NEW GAMES. PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SUPPORT, SERVICES, OR FREEBIES TO AN OWNER...

Just to reiterate what morganfell illustrated in that photo, the list of servers don't include matches with full capacity (ie 32/32, 16/16, etc). It only shows matches that have an available spot to join. So you can imagine the number of games going on that are full. If you don't believe me, try joining a game that someone on your friend's list is currently playing. It's nearly impossible most of the time because he's in a full match.

Yes I'm serious. I don't see much of an improvement from BC1 to BC2.
