They are based in the USA. I bet Nintendo play the dirty card and make the Switch 2 more expensive in the rest of the world and keep the same price in the USA, Basically the rest of the world will absorb the tariff so US consumers can get the Switch 2 cheaper. Sorry ain't gonna happen.
This is going to be the problem, The flush pockets of the gaming press who have no concept of value. Already giving Nintendo a free pass to try and convince everyone to empty their already empty pockets.
No way a Switch 2 is selling 150 million like the first one. I think just having the same name is enough to curtail maximum sales potential.
Jobst also has his own controversies that were shown on Discord so I can't have much sympathy for him either. He is just one step away from that old tired angry at everything right wing manosphere.
More like Nintendo 64 days and we know that didn't end well.
Nintendo Switch 64
Nintendo copied Android gaming tablets that had detachable controllers that the big tech sites laughed at until Nintendo did it (Engadget, Verge etc hypocrisy). and didn't do it any better.
As long as they are smart enough to do most of the work first before releasing the emulator and then putting it in a decentralised location and repo.
Yeah, I said the same thing. If the mouse doesn't at least support your hands resting arch position you are in big trouble. I don't see how this would.
I don't see this being an often used control method. For most it is either handheld mode on the sofa or controller and TV on the sofa. Not some breakfast table over your legs getting finger crap from the worlds most non ergonomic mouse.
Not unless they come up with some amazing marketing campaign otherwise it will just perform as bad as Halo these days.
Seems a bit ridiculous that No Man's Sky was able to support all formats and this game couldn't. It didn't help that they were selling the game piece meal either. e.g. buy this expansion so you can walk on planets. I feel like the damage is done and they should probably shut the thing down.
The irony is No Man's Sky is what Elite used to be and can be played completely offline.
So the Sony and Microsoft strategy is to make Nintendo great again.
No one complains when Bethesda put out games that are multiple gens behind in terms of underlying tech, or are we finally going to see a shift and have people actually critically review a Bethesda game for once?
Yeah, I'm not buying it. It was over hyped like Starfield was.
Nintendo will prove this theory correct again meanwhile Sony continues to give away all their games and platform advantage by walking into the Microsoft elephant trap. Microsoft will come up with a way to get Sony's PC ports under their umbrella more than it currently is under Windows and do a big rug pull on them. They have been reportedly doing this with Steam already.
Ubisoft isn't going to change if the mass media keep eating up AC after AC.
Young fool, only now.. at thee end.. do you understand. (putting all your eggs in a digital basket will only end this way)
I always preferred the first AoE.
Basically not utilizing Sony's kraken compression so they can effectively DRM the game with a download. I said I wouldn't be buying Microsoft games on PlayStation anyway. The sad thing is there is higher capacity disc technology waiting to be used but they choose to ignore it. It will probably be for archivists, general consumer is not allowed to archive anymore.
