I actually preferred it when you got a single player game with a bonus multiplayer game on the side. That was much more risk free than setting out a 10+ year plan for a multiplayer only game which will likely flop.

I'm still not going to buy any Microsoft game because we ultimately know what their end goal is. Take out everyone else. Now they are just applying the "tunnel out of other peoples ecosystems" strategy by bombarding them with content. regulators have already frowned upon this.
Honestly I think the remasters are just a way to get their games ready for PC ports but the strategy is sell them to PS5 owners first to make maximum bank. It is why I've stopped buying PS5 games altogether.
Maybe putting The Power Rangers in Hunt Showdown will get you some money back. (sarcasm)

Without exclusivity you have no competition. How do you think movie and tv streaming services operate? If you have no exclusives then you only have the need for 1 service which means no competition. Microsoft wants no competition so it can be the only game in town.
Where are all the PC users that want Nintendo ports? They are usually quick to ask for games from Sony and Microsoft.
