Future of Xbox is to slap an Xbox logo on things like slapping a Windows key on a keyboard.
How about no.
lol nope.
Not buying Microsoft products is actually the best way to get physical media.
Nailed it. They are completely manipulating the situation to screw over the consumer. Once they have you all trapped into digital downloads they'll turn off the downloads and say it is streaming only now, they have absolute power to do that. Physical media is the only thing from stopping these greedy corporations from ruining the whole thing.
The technology already exists to produced 1TB discs, so in reality it isn't on its last legs. people need to stop being lazy and supporting physical media as it supports the consumer.
Well said, It is because a lot of the people into fantasy games are not into the technical details and they know they can get away with it.
Let me guess, not on disc, online only and no VR = no buy.
If buying isn't owning then piracy isn't stealing.
Not on disc so the game doesn't exist.
Problem isn't the visual but rather the core of what makes a Bethesda game is very outdated and stilted but many people will give them a free pass. Walking up to statuesque NPC's and selection text like an adventure novel is not the standard in 2025.
Because they don't want to pay for it multiple times or have it removed from their library due being an expired disney licensed ip. They are 100% legit concerns. If you are not supporting game preservation you are not supporting gaming and you should find another hobby. I won't be buying it for the same reasons. At the end of the day it is just more lost sales for them.
I mean it could be good but as long as they have a gate fee for multiplayer then you are cutting out most of your potential right out of the gate. I haven't been on PS+ since I got my PS5.
The sad thing is if Microsoft would just bugger off then none of this acceleration-ism to cloud gaming (the end goal) would be happening. They will ultimately use this expensive pricing to have us paying $100 a month for game streaming in the future.
Glad Kojima is working to drain Microsoft of cash. :D
You thought Microsoft was going to give advantages to a rival platform? I knew from the start as soon as Microsoft went multiplatform they would do stuff like this. That is why people shouldn't support their multiplatform venture at all.
Not on disc, not buying.
I haven't bought a Ubisoft game since Watch Dogs 3.
This issue from Sony mandating accounts on PC stems from the fact that most of their games are pirated in the millions on torrent sites. Requiring an online account/check in is an anti piracy measure. Also most people on PC want everything on Steam and only 1 Steam account. You know because digital store front communism is good for competition. PC is only championed as an open platform as long as no one threatens Steam supremacy.
The is the kind of stuff you need in VR. Big teams of players in ships and subs going at it.
