Not really. I mean, when you're stuffed to the gills with great exclusives, you really don't have time for 3rd party games. It's why my PS4 and Xbox One don't get played much. Although, I did enjoy Dragon Age Inquisition. That was one 3rd party game I made time for. Bow it's back to Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, Zelda Majora's Mask and Kirby Rainbow Curse. And Metroid Prime Trilogy, oh, and Fire Emblem (GBA) off the virtual console service.
The battery life isn't great?
You do realize the Wii U Pro Controller lasts 80 hours on a single charge right? The longest lasting official controller of any console in history.
Did you buy a knockoff 3rd party controller or something?
Sound pretty upset about this lol?
1) Not FORCED to buy anything. That's why they are called accessories.
2) Gamepad isn't a wannabe controller, it IS a controller. And a mighty fine one at that. Having a screen on a controller is one of those "duh" moments- they should have been doing this years ago. Makes me wanna throw my Dualshock 4 in the toilet
3) Battery is legit complaint. But the replacement is $30 and gets you nea...
You haven't been playing the right games then!
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate
Fire Emblem Awakening
Zelda Link Between Worlds
Three of the greatest video games ever made, on any platform.

It is what it is. Nintendo's games typically score well, and they're proud of that fact. Especially when they're now targeting the gamer. And what does the gamer care about? Fun games.
It's not the end all be all, but it is a fair indicator that the games in question are fun. Just like movies cite reviews, there's nothing wrong with flaunting your accolades. If a game is good, and it scores well, let people know that! Hey! Our games over here? Ya, they all...
I don't think anything has happened to their exclusives. They've always been lame, nothing's changed.
Not to offend anyone but I didn't buy my PS4 for Sony's 1st party games. I bought it for the excellent 3rd party games (which run better and smoother) on PS4, the slick and responsive interface, the (at the time) lower price and, up until this generation, I would have also said free online. But whatever.
So ya, it is what it is. If every ...
"I feel so alive! This is so insane! Somone is reading this, two hundred fifty one, I never get past eleven!"
Ugggh, nails on a chalkboard
Ya know, some of the greatest games I've played in my life have been on the Wii U- DKC Tropical Freeze, Bayonetta 2, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate... And considering the online works, and it's free, I can live without "premium" paid services like voice chat.
Besides, most of the games on the system are targeted toward the single player experience anyways (contrary to popular belief- other than Mario Kart and Smash, and maybe Splatoon, the system was designed for...
"Laughing stock of the gaming world"
Then the gaming world has serious issues. Cause Xenoblade X will surely be one of the greatest RPG's of this generation. And you don't have to be a Nintendo fanboy to see that- you just have to NOT be a Sony fanboy
Right. Cause shipping 6 million Amiibos in 60 days is CLEARLY manufacturing demand.
Roughly 65 million, against the 155 million of the DS family. And again 10 million with the Vita, against the 50 million this far of the 3DS family.
Not saying they shouldn't make another one- clearly there's room for the Wii U's 10 million against the 20 million of PS4, BUT, the Wii U actually gets support. Vita has been all but abandoned, and I'm not sure how many people are willing to put down cash again for a system that might not get support after two ye...
This is the best video game I've ever played. Bar none. Sunk 600 hours into MH3U, but it was a tough one to get into especially as a beginner. MH4U does a perfect job of teaching you the ropes, but doesn't water anything down. The game still expects you to master every last mechanic. At least this time around it tells you what those mechanics are and how to use them.
I so recommend this game to anyone out there looking for their future best video game they've ever...
That's malarkey because the 3DS version outsold every other version there was, and it cost less to make. Which means they made more money off Nintendo than both PS and Xbox
And... This review lost all credibility with that headline.
Hope it's good, other wise I lost $60. But this review does nothing to ease my concerns
Nintendo shipped nearly 6 million amiibos in the first 60 days.
That doesn't exactly scream "intentional shortages" to me.
In fact, amiibos were available for a solid MONTH without anything selling out. That was before the scalper/collector hysteria. So it seems to me there was plenty stock- 6 million deep, but once scalping was involved that's when everything started selling out immediately.
And even with the scalping, the...
Saw this on the eSHOP and it blew me away. Bought it immediately
Fire Emblem Awakening...
Check.
Zelda Link Between Worlds...
Check.
One final ingredient you're missing...
MONSTER HUNTER 4 ULTIMATE. The last game you'll ever need.
You speak truth.
I just got mine today (of course, I was impatient on launch night and scooped a black one at Walmart- stood by electronics for 2 hours to secure it). Such an amazing handheld just got that much more amazing.
Nonsense.
You'd have to hate video games to not like Zelda. Or be so young that you've been conditioned to believe a game is all about cinematics and QTE's.
