You're being ignorant.
Check how many chapters Birthright has. Ya. Just as many as Awakening, which already had MORE than past entries.
Single game with branching paths? Ignorance. You can't argue with the numbers. And the numbers say each game is as big as Awakening, pure and simple.
I know you don't want to believe that and you will do anything in your power to spin it the other way but you cannot get around the truth of the mat...
Me. And most of the people who buy it.
Don't make the mistake of thinking the online community is the majority. It's not.
Don't go all fanboy on us and try to defend staple features being gutted as if "it doesn't really matter". It matters.
The unsettling part is even the future content they promised....
DOES NOT INCLUDE a normal vs CPU mode (just some boss challenge crap they're labeling as vs CPU), or an arcade mode.
And the cinematic update for story mode makes no mention of actually expanding the story mode beyond the current 3-matches. Literally finish story mode in 5 minutes or less.
Zelda. Doesn't matter which one.
In my experience, women LOVE Zelda. My ex-wife, I couldn't unglue her from Twilight Princess, and she never played video games. Another girl I knew, I lend her my 3DS and when I get it back, she's like 15 hours into Ocarina of Time with a dozen hearts. I'm still sitting there with 4 measly hearts lol.
Women love Zelda.
What you mean is, vanilla.
Why need NX for that? PS4 and X1 already have you covered.
I can appreciate arguments that cite motion as a gimmick, because in most cases it really was. But, this has gotten out of control. Saying a screen is a gimmick, when we're talking about video games (which require screens) is ridiculous.
Now it's gotten so bad people say anything other than straight laced approach of the 90's is a gimmick. That l...
Fire Emblem Fates!!!
Lol oh man that sucks
What sets consoles apart is the convenience.
I didn't buy a Wii U, PS4, X1, 3DS and Vita because they had better exclusives than PC.
I bought them specifically because they weren't PC.
I'm a fan of gaming, on all consoles.
And I too am indifferent. I will never play on PC- I only play on consoles. So all this "Quantum Break is coming to PC, Street Fighter V is coming to PC, BLAH BLAH BLAH is coming to PC..."
I just couldn't care less.
The thing is, and I say this as objectively as I can, even now in the Wii U era, Nintendo has somehow managed to turn it into a profit. Now, they also have a very successful handheld platform, and that's not going away any time soon. They've never made an unsuccessful handheld.
If they can turn the worst generation they've ever had into profit, I wouldn't worry about this being their last shot. Besides, they've got more gold than Fort Knox, enough to weath...
And it's true.
There isn't much of a reason to buy an X1- IF YOU ARE A PC GAMER.
But as for the vast majority of console-only gamers, where PC a doesn't even register as a blip on the radar, nothing has changed.
And either way, MS doesn't care. It's like Nintendo- they don't care if you buy Smash Bros on 3DS or Wii U. Or Sony- they don't care if you buy Gravity Rush on PS4 or Vita.
Pikmin 3 and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze are must owns. Absolute must-owns.
Did you read the article? They address that question in the first paragraph.
Man this generation I tell ya...
Bring it on. So ready for this game. Just release already!
I loved Yoshi's Wooly World- that was a masterpiece. The Yoshi's Island sequel we've been wanting for 20 years...
This looks good too, and I'm buying, but I'm always cautious with platformers that aren't made by Nintendo (aside from the high profile exceptions like Rayman).
I'm just worried it's gonna get a physical release 3 months after the fact, and I'll be forced to buy it again. I may wait- sick of buying games twice b...
Right on!
Glad to see Vita still getting a few worthy games here and there. After last year, I wasn't really expecting anything.
No, it's not for everyone. Casual gamers need not apply.
For everyone else, it's one of the best RPG's I've ever played.
Those who criticize the story do so through the lens of its predecessor. Through the lens of the RPG genre, it's excellent. Has more story (and better) than any Final Fantasy game I've ever played, and that franchise is lauded as one of the best.
You're right, they did do the same thing. But you'd be better off discussing the similarities elsewhere- here people will just label you a fanboy any time you dare speak ill of Sony.
But anyone who's not holding their belt understands what you're saying. I certainly do. I'm not really upset about it cause they weren't successful, but it sure seemed shady.
Not enough to make me sell my PS4/Vita- I'm not that political. But maybe tha...
That's because "the formula" isn't the appeal- thus why FF Explorers sucks.
It's the COMBAT in MH that people love. A game of penultimate boss fights, one after another. The incredible skill you must hone to perfection- knowing your invincibility frames, dodging to the millisecond, managing animation frames.
It's the ultimate experience. "The formula" just sucks you in that much more, after you've been sucked in by the ...
No, the first 6 chapters are identical.
Out of what, 40-50 chapters?
I'm not sure where you learned mathematics but that's not exactly half.
