Really they are kinda mid-range laptop components, but maybe considered closer to low end in 6 months from now when it launches.
Some voice commands are kinda cool and could be effectively used more so than the touchpad. Still not worth the $100 to me, but I know of a few friends who play a few fps games on the 360 and like some voice commands that they do.
I agree on the gimmickness of Kinect but my kids kinda like it. I have no interest in it mind you.
But at the same time, that ps4 touchpad is just as gimmicky and useless (in my opinion).
Email on a console without a full keyboard and possibly get viruses. Ya that sounds like the best idea ever. /s

They are AA. So you can buy 3rd party rechargeable AA or even ms or 3rd party packs.

Newsflash, batteries lose charge over time and need to be replaced. I get that some of u have 5 or 6 year old controllers that still can hold a whopping 1-2 hour charge, but no ty.
The only thing Ive ever seen them say was that consoles are less powerful than pc's. Which is true, so I don't see that as "arrogance" unless the truth really offends you that much.
True story. I upgraded my desktop pc with 120mm fans over the 80mm ones because they are more quiet. I don't get why that is, but Ive searched the decibel levels and larger fans are more quiet.
But I don't know what fan sizes these consoles are using.

Ps4 and Xbox One aren't BC so the discs wont even work in them. Plus their going to be running different software coding since the cpu's are so different.
Maybe digital download games might be, but doubtful.

MS was first with games, last with drm. I don't care if my xbox gets pinged once per 24 hours, but I don't like the fee for used games. Its like 1 step forward, another step back. I'm so conflicted the brand now.
WiiU this console has the most freedom for us cutomers hands down: free online and no used pricing policies. WiiU also has BC that ms and sony do not. However, I just cant get on board with 7 year old hardware claiming to trick me into believing its next ...

In fairness, he made equal parts fun of ps4 as xbone (he declared them both number 1 infront of them). Last, he declared WiiU number 1 but made fun of the Mario voice guy.
