There already have discussions going on for around 100 years and the consistent is disarming law abiding citizens is highly ineffective no matter what creative spin or blame game the media comes up with.

Never understood why politicians think removing guns from law abiding people and putting up signs at a store or bank saying "no guns allowed" is a good idea. I mean criminals always gunna have guns, knives, of just over power you. Kinda common sense they wouldn'...

Vietnam, Korean, Cold War, Iraq War say hi, lol. Don't get a free pass on a techinicality of not being a world war. : P

On side note, more were killed in the Civil War than both World Wars combined. Think about that one.

But anyways gun/video game control is a waste of time.

Yes you don't get jokes either like what I posted. Guess we have that in common.

Great game, but awkward name for a game, imo. Last of us sounds like something you'd referring to breaking up with a girlfriend. "You cheated on me, this is the last of us!"

1.) Optmization wont be as huge of a difference for next gen compared with pc counterparts, since both consoles are using the same architecture as pc (x86).
2.) Laptop parts are a good amount slower than desktop versions (due do heat/power issues).
3.) Overall, cheaper initial price of consoles, soon catches up to paid online and more expensive games (but that's kind of subjective because you can find sales and bargain bins).
4.) All gamers will benefit from next g...

I know its the trendy thing to hate on MS here (alot of it deserved don't get me wrong), but did you haters ever think about they upgraded their wireless to wifi direct so maybe the adaptors are necessary, but in the end good because of the better technology?

Plus that new port for headsets, they said is for faster data transfers.

The best prices I find are the refurbished deals at newegg. Bought about 4 ASUS and all have been in mint condition.

They didn't overheat because of power supply or heat issues. Was due to poor soldering which lead to failure (mostly). And I see it said some failures look to have been from some crappy quality parts too.

It's kind of a trade off. More space gives you better cooling, but doesn't look as compact and ultra high-tech.

Every laptop, especially gaming laptops, all have bricks. For laptops on the go, no brick would be great. But for consoles, it just sits hidden behind your tv anyways.

But still, that's pretty cool sony can do that, even if is only in a geeky kinda of way most wont notice. Sony laptops even have power bricks still.

4724d ago 2 agree11 disagreeView comment

Small with no power brick? That is amazing. However, it is ugly as sin as far as the design shape.

PC can be both, but that's just a generalization. There is no set price tag on a pc like a console. Could you go out and spent over $3,000--yup. But your paying less for games and no online fees for the pc. Etc, etc.

Although, most console users enjoy some exclusives and the perceived convenience of plug and play. (As well as prolly a dozens more things you could list).
