I could tell from the screen shots we have seen before that Uncharted 2 looked better than the first. However seeing the games side by side like that just blows my mind. Uncharted was definitely a beautiful outstanding game. But damn ND really pushed themselves this time around.
I wont have the funds for this on day one. but I will be buying iot eventually. I have and love the first NGS so Ill be happy to add this to my collection.
New game types will be great as long as you can play them across all maps without having to buy the new maps if you either dont want the new maps or cant afford them right when they come out but will get them later. Anyway Sony and more specifically ND has shown they listen to the fans so if we speak up they will hear it and listen.
I dont think this will affect a future Uncharted 3. In fact this could actually increase their budget to make Uncharted 3 even better. Yes its true Uncharted didnt get DLC but it was a SP game only. I can imagine the DLC ND will release for Uncharted 2 will be new Co-Op and MP maps. Now on that basis imagine if they made maps for Co-Op and MP based off the first Uncharted but using the Uncharted 2 graphics engine. That would most definitely be worth paying money for.
Guess this will make anyone complaining about the game only have 7 MP maps happy now. Anyway I can see myself getting really into the MP and if the DLC is coming out months later by then Ill be more than happy to buy any new DLC.
When they start passing off inferior titles with less quality but still try to sell it at full price or try to spin it off into other genres then Ill call it milking. But as long as they can keep the quality going across the games they make who are we to complain. Anyway ND has shown they arent ones to just sit on their ass and put out crap titles. Instead they bust their ass to give gamers the quality games we ask for.
This could be pretty big if they release some software. Especially if it makes them all BC enabled. Howver ever since my 60 went down Ive been using my PS2 for those games and have had to share my wife's 80gb PS3 with her when i want to game. Whether this is true or not Ill probably be buying a slim in Nov when i get some extra money instead of getting my 60 fixed right now.
Those maps are great. Ive only played the two that were in the beta back in June though.
He got done playing it already. He is so overwhelmed with grief over wasting the 60 that he wandered in here by mistake.
Dont forget Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 is born out of them testing NG2. Guess he is done with ODST already. Man it must be shorter than reviews said it was.

Want to talk about failed troll? Naughty Dog has been owned by Sony since 2000. Next time do some research moron before opening your mouth. Also what real console are you talking about? None more real than the good ol PS3. MS wish they had a 1st party as strong as Sony's to give them true Exclusives people will be playing for years to come.
That's funny its my GOTY for 09 as well. ND and Sony definitely have a winner on their hands with Uncharted 2. I just got done watching the vids of all the MP maps and man they look like an insane amount of fun. I played the beta in June so I'm familiar with 2 of them but the rest just look like you could lose hours playing them.
I think they mean the same as the devs at Uncharted 2 when they said they had "maxed" out the PS3. Its just them stating they have the Cell and all the SPUs working together to run the game. Many 3rd party devs still havent learned to use all the SPUs so therefore they cant say they have "maxed" the system out.
That would have been a much better use of Destructoids time to make an article about why Fanboys suck. Instead they drop to that kind of a low just to single out one group. No matter where you look you can find bad groups of fanboys. Heck there is a full site of the worst kind of 360 fanboys that was brought to my attention a few weeks ago. While I think Uncharted 2 will take it. Id like to throw a 3rd game in for the running. Batman: Arkham Asylum is an excellent game that at least deserves a nomination.
I read that and Im just wondering what was wrong with the guy that he would even do something like that. We arent talking about some Juvenile kid. This was an adult. Uncharted 2 for me. I played the beta and with everything Ive seen and the reviews coming out for Uncharted 2. Well I just know it will be my own personal GOTY.
I bought Uncharted on day one and Ill be doing the same for Uncharted 2. Its my personal GOTY eventhough I havent played it yet. I did play the beta back in June and it surprised me at just how good it is.
I just cant watch that. I dont mind trailers and MP footage but i stop short of actual gameplay footage from an actual level.
