Exactly. I remember seeing so many threads about how SC: Conviction and Alan Wake would be the next leap in graphics and will beat Uncharted 2 as the best in console graphics. Then it was revealed about them being sub HD and those threads turned into I like gameplay over graphics and the resolution doesnt matter bs. I just want to see some new games. That is really all I care about. Everything else is just a bonus. Allthough a solid release date for DCU Online and some gameplay footage for inFamous 2 would be awesome.

Why would you ven skip this? Without the boots you wont be able to beat the game. There are puzzles later on that require you use them to get through.

Well you know how people are. They think Sony is ruining gaming because they wont share their exclusive games with the PC or 360. I for one have stayed with Sony for my gaming since the PS1 because they seem to be the ones who really keep pushing the industry forward.
I did want and still want a wii but more so now for the games I wont find on the PS3. Games like Tiger Woods and some of the party stuff Ill play on the PS3 with Move. Im definitely looking forward to Move and cant wait to see more of these games in action. Im sure we will see newer builds and more games announced at E3.
I for one am looking forward to Move. I think if anyone can really pull this off it is Sony. This opens up the market to a broader spectrum of gamers and could really pull in more people. Sony wont just use this to take the place of the dualshock nor will hey use it for just casual games either. This is just another way to play.
I think your wrong on that. With so many Wiis out there people may take another look at the PS3 with Move and the games for it and pick one up. Also the thing holding back PSP Go was the price point and the fact it was Digital Download only. DD is not such a bad thing but the Price point was what keeps it from selling especially since there is still a much cheaper version of the PSP still on the market. Anywa this can do very well for Sony and I for one will be picking up some Move controller...
I saw exactly what I expected to see tonight. I have been wanting more info abou the motion controllers and I was really impressed by everything I saw. Im definitely going to be buying SOCOM 4 but now Ill be trying it out with Move as well. Anyway this was a good thing to show at GDC. Show others in the industry what they have to make games with and maybe stir some ideas in the gaming community about what to make for the future. I can see what your saying as well. I for one though still dont have a Wii but i do want one. I havent bought one up to now because frnakly I just dont have the money to support 2 consoles. There are quite a few games I will get for the Wii if I ever do get one but at the same time. I can get a lot of what I would have played on the Wii on my PS3. Granted I cant get Mario, Zelda, or Metroid games but for those I would gladly buy a Wii and will in the future.
I was really impressed by what I saw. From the casual games that was shown to SOCOM 4 I can see what Sony has planned for the future. What I find most impressive with that list is the fact there are 7 Exclusive PS3 titles there. All the rest are multiplat titles. Its a great time to be a gamer but an even better time to own a PS3.
Agreed. We are now in the time where the PS3 is really showing its power and also why Sony went with Blu Ray. As Sony continues to put out one amazing title after another the bias in the media will continue to be called out.
Im definitely going to be buying this day one. The whole fight scene was really intense and I can just imagine how much more intense it will be having a controller in my hands playing it. Oh the shower scene was ok too.
SOCOM Confrontation is also an online only Mutiplayer shooter.
Ill be buying this on day one. I still havent beat GTA IV yet but now Ive got more incentive too.
I tend to stare up at the sky more. I especially loved how things changed during the thunderstorm. Also the sound is one of the best Ive heard in an open world game. Hearing the wind, rain, and thunder in surround sound was just amazing.
