Well the first game was SP's first time on the PS3. If I remember correcrtly they used a fairly old graphic's engine from the PS2 modified to run on the PS3. Now that they have more experience it would seem they can really build a good new Graphics engine for the PS3. With a new design Id bet money they have done exactly that.
Dude calm down. Just find out when it will hit store shelves and go buy it. I plan on doing exactly that.
Im liking the new look and I cant wait to see what new powers we get and what city we play in. Whether its New Oreleans or London or some other city doesnt matter to me. This is a day one buy.
My GameInformer subscription ended a long time ago but for this Im going to have to go to gamestop when this issue comes out and buy it and also renew my subscription. I cant wait to see some vids for this game and really see what the new details are.
This is an absolutely amazing game. The stuff Ive seen created has been great and Ive even created a few karts and mods. Gotten positive responses on the forums Ive posted them too but still not a lot of downloads unfortunately. Anyway the racing is top notch and definitely involves more than just racing. You need a good bit of strategy as well.
Im liking the sound of this recent news. Cant wait for the ful game to release.

On topic ModNation Racers is a really good racing game and is one of those IPs that will grow well based on word of mouth and the people who create awesome content.
I like the title change. Ima lso looking forward to Move and the games both casual and core games. Im really hoping to see Ape Escape at E3. That is probably mt most anticipated Move game.
I think he would do great as Nightwing. He did an excellent job in the PoP games. He also did a great job in the Legion of Superheroes cartoon as Superman and Superman X.
This has been old news for awhile. Amy Henning has stated in the past about the work she has scene that Sony has been putting into the script. She mentioned that they were on a good track. I for one cant wait to see Uncharted brought to the big screen and because Sony are the ones working on the movie Im confident it will turn out well.
Yeah ModNation Racers is a very good game. Definitely more than enough room on my PS3 for MNR and Joe Danger. I remember the first time I saw Joe Danger I thought of the original Excitebike. Anyway I may get this on day one. Nice to see Sony making Play, Create, Share more prominent.
Not a lot of hype for this. But it is a game that will grow more by word of mouth and friends playing together in split screen. It will make a good party game and with the creation features their will never be a lack of content.
While I dont live in Europe. Im from the US I did buy this game yesterday and Ive had a blast with it so far. I think this will be a game that spreads by word of mouth. As more people create amazing mods, karts, and tracks and show them off to their friends then they will start buying it and spread it on to more people. This doesnt have to be a huge seller first week but it will be a strong seller over many months.
They have made offers to buy Insomniac in the past but Insomniac has always wanted to remain independent. Anyway it was smat for them to buy media molecule. And eventhough they never did buy Insomniac the relationship remains strong so we will continue to see exclusives from them as well as new multiplat IP that frankly I cannot wait to see.
Yep and take said money to continue working on R&C games and Resistance games for the PS3 and possibly more of the new IP if it goes well. In the end Gamers are the ones who come out on top with this deal.
That isnt so bad with them possibly offering free games. The core PSN service will remain free which is great. I could still play online even if maybe I couldnt afford to get this for a month or something. My one gripe with Live is the fact you pay to play online. If Live would go this route and let people pay for the features but give gaming online to everyone Id go out and buy a 360. There are quite a few good games Id love to play on that.
They should have done what i had to do. My wife and I both like to game so to keep from having to wait for the other one to get done we bought a second PS3.
I live in the US and I bought it for my PS3. It looks and plays great for me and Ive had a blast with the online as well. Been able to easily connect with several of my clan mates and just enjoy playing in matches or just shooting at one another. Even the PS3 exclusive content is a lot of fun and Ive played through it a few times. Havent tried to beat the high scores on it yet though.
I guess Im one of the few that likes thenew look. I cant wait to see this in action though and I expect once some of you who are so down on the new look will change their minds. Anyway Im going to be buying this on day one just like I did the first one.
