I loved Uncharted 2 but I also love Batman AA and since it was such a surprise hit I really think Rocksteady deserved the win. After all ND's hard work was justified when UC 2 won for best PS3 game, best graphics, and GOTY.
Edit: Plus lets be real we knew Uncharted 2 would turn out well because ND has a history of making great games. Rocksteady was a virtual unknown before Batman: AA. They have made other games but nothing as spectacular as Batman.
Ive played the demo several times and I have really enjoyed it. It definitely feels a lot like GOW though. However that isnt such a bad thing considering how good it plays and looks. Ill be buying the GOW 3 Ultimate Edition in March but I also plan on buying Dante's Inferno. After all there is more than enough room on my shelf for both games.
That new suit is looking really good. Ive played through the original a lot and it is still one of my fav games this gen. Ill be buying DS2 on day one.
Ill be picking this up in Dec as i wont have the money for it on release day. Ill be picking it up for the PS3 along with the PSP Assassins Creed game.
Well I tried emailing Gamestop about it and got the run around from them about it as well. I actually called them about it before the UE was in there system only to find out that they got a message about it right after I called. To make things worse though one of their own employees walked out of the store with a code as I was walking in so I figured they had some. Im not one to make a scene though so I let it go for now but Im definitely not happy about it.
I preordered the Ultimate Edition on fri but it wasnt until after i had already paid my money that they told me they didnt have any more codes. Their reason was all the codes they got were going to the ones who had preordered the regular edition of GOW 3 already. I held out because I knew Sony would be releasing a Ultimate Edition but this will be the last time i shop at Gamestop. It says right on their website I was upposed to recieve a code at the time of reservation and yet i didnt get any...
Im still waiting on Star Wars and all the Indiana Jones movies on blu ray. But I dont care much for Gamer. I didnt even go see it in theaters.
They will be adding it as a feature on the XMB next year. But for now the quickest and easiest way to get this in customers hands was through the disc. At least there is an option for it now with a much better option on the horizon.
Well since Sony's service only lets you rent or buy newer titles and netflix lets you stream older ones. Then it really is more of a compliment than a direct competition. Anyway this is great news for both Sony and Netflix.
Most PS3 people didnt hate Netflix. Just the bots who used it as an excuse as to why Live is worth the money. So can you tell me why Live is worth paying for now? I wish 360 owners would wake up and stop letting MS rape them by making them pay extra to access stuff they already pay for or can get for free on other platforms.
Exactly. it is so freaking uncomfortable sitting at my computer for an entire movie on netflix. Now I can sit down on my couch and just watch from there. Now I never bad mouthed netflix being on the 360. i just badmouthed the fact you had to have a gold account to even use something you already pay for. I had been putting my netflix account on hold until recently but Ill be using it a lot more from now on.
I just recently started my netflix account back up and this news is huge for me. I was contemplating on whether or not to outright cancel it again though since I wasnt sure Id get much use out of it. But with this news Ill be hanging on to my account as well as renting more movies every month as well.
Some Blu rays are under 10 dollars now. Also some movies are pretty cheap during their first week. Granted the price does go back up to 30 for newer movies, but as Blu Ray becomes the choice for consumers the price will go down even more. I actually just got Transformers:ROTF from Wal Mart for 19.96 on tues. Also to use netflix on the 360 you still have to pay for Live and even on PC it doesnt do HD. Blu Ray just doesnt have any competition when it comes to the best picture and sound quality ...
Well i got my wife into gaming more with the PS2. after we got a PS3 she started playing COD 4 a lot online. That is pretty much the only game she plays now also. it got so bad we bought her a second PS3 so we could both game online at the same time.
I might actually have to import a game for the first time. Unfortunately this game will probably end up censored in the states. Guess some idiots over her havent realized that adults play games now.
I expect at last one of those discs will be a Making of series. With 5 years in development they better have filmed some of what it has taken to make this game. Ive never really been able to get that into GT games in the past but this time around Ill probably have to spring for a steering wheel so i can play this.
Ive seen almost as much news and previews for R&C as I have for Uncharted 2 and with the new R&C coming out in 2 weeks Im sure we will starts seeing some commercials for it. Sony hasnt forgotten about Insomniac or R&C.
Im kind of glad this game got delayed . I was looking forward to it but more polish couldnt hurt. Also the holiday season is very crowded. but I think Publishers should start using the whole year for big releases and not try to group them all into a a few time frames.
I bought it from Best Buy on day one. Havent been able to play it yet though. I had to send my Ps3 off to Sony to get it fixed. It sucks but Ill be popping that in when it comes back. Im hoping tio gets back before the new R&C game because then Ill have a hard time deciding which game to play first.
Very well said. I am a Christian and a Gamer myself. I do get so sick thugh of hearing so many groups attack a hobby that I have. We all have free will to do what we want good or bad and playing games is not a bad thing. I enjoy MW2, God Of War and many games that some so called "Christians" would frown upon but honestly a lot of them are more out to promote themselves than the message Jesus has for us. He taught us to love someone else as much as we would ourselves and even accepte...
