MAG is one game Ill definitely be picking up on day one. Since its not releasing until Jan that gives plenty of time for people to pick it up. This is a game that will change what we know of FPS gaming on a console. Also thanks to the beta that is going on now Zipper can use any info they get to make sure it is polished very well when it comes out.
COD Sp has always been great but the MP just gets old quickly which is why I dont play it anymore. I got tired of all the lag and advantages someone that ended up hosting with a bad connection had. MAG is going to be a killer franchise and one that honestly will do a lot for FPS gaming.
Like many have said it hasnt been officially delayed and I really hope it doesnt get delayed. Id rahter play MAG then MW2. Also Ill be playing as Valor no matter what my clan decides to do.
This is a pretty awesome update. Sony is definitely going in the right direction with Home. I really do expect they may do some movie screenings in Home in the future.
KZ2 was fun dont get me wrong but even without that having come out earlier this year I still wouldnt be impressed by MW2. I just see more of the same stuff from MW just throw in some new weapons and other crap. Nothing more than a 60 dollar expansion pack.

its not just non comic video games that are being shown. There are many movies not based on comics being shown as well. Comic Con has really grown to include many things outside of comics. But they all seem to be things fans of comics enjoy.
I dont see Blu Ray going anywhere anytime soon. I for one wouldnt ever take DD or even supposed streaming over a disc. One even with my bandwith which is the highest you can get in my area I still would run into issues. Also for anyone saying there isnt that much of a difference between a dvd and Blu Ray really hasnt seen Blu Ray on a HDTV. Like I said in my post above yours this has been available on PSP for the US since June when it was announced at E3. Im not sure why its just not hitting Japan though but we have also had the video service for PS3 since last year. Anyway while some things do come later on PS3 here its still a great system to have and offers many great things.
We have had this service for PSP since June actually in the US. I downloaded Supernova as a rent back during E3 week after this was announced. I just checked to confirm it was available here and they have many new releases available to download including Watchmen.
If I owned a 360 Id be doing the same. Id only buy the exclusives for it but even then I wouldnt be playing them online. I just dont agree with paying just to enjoy the MP aspect of a game online.
All new movie purchases I make are Blu Ray. Id really like it if they brought the price for blu ray brand new down to 20 each instead of 30. Some movies however especially older ones are being released for 20. Ghostbusters and the Skynet Edition of T2 are good examples of that. Also many places hold really good sales on blu rays now which usually go for 10 and up. Blu ray isnt likely to stop being made anytime soon especially with studios re releasing titles on blu ray. Well I did buy Buzz Jungle Party when it released a few months back and as far as I can tell it was ported to run on the PS3. it even supports the Buzz Quiz TV Wireless buzzers. I havent bought Robo Jam yet but i expect its a port of the PS2 and not a emulation.
Exactly. I remember when ND was talking about what they wanted Nathan to be as a character. They always said they wanted him to be an everyman that people could relate too easily. Well they did their job and then some with the entire cast of characters in the first. I think a lot of it has to do with how they do the cutscenes by putting the actors in mo-cap suits together and actually go through acting out the scene as if they were making a movie. While I never actually beat Battletoads I did manage to beat the hoverbike sequence. Play it enough and youll learn exactly when to move and where the ramps are for the jumps.
Naughty Dog is raising the bar for PS3 games with Uncharted 2. day one buy for me just like the first one.
While it sucks they got laid off, the fact still remains that Damnation was a bad game and that is why no one bought it. When i first saw it being developed I was very excited to see if it would turn out as good as it seemed. But it turned to crap which is unfortunate for something that had so much promise. Maybe this will teach other devs out there to take the time you need and make sure you have the money to make games people will buy.
I liked the first Red Dead Revolver. I even liked Gun so another good Western game is great. Ill definitely be picking this one up when it comes out. Glad to know they are making the world huge as well.
I already ahve two PS3s. However my 60 does have the YLOD so Im considering just getting a slim and a brand new PS2 to replace it since I still have PS2 games. Originally all we had was a 60 but my wife got into gaming so we bought a 80gb for her to use in the bedroom so we could both game at night together or at least both be online at the same time.
