With the game being so close to release and the best they could do at E3 was show that demo certainly doesn't fill me with any confidence. Even worse is that it has been in development since 2011. First as a 360 Kinect exclsuive, then a controller/Kinect hybrid for the 360, and finally changed to an XBOX One exclusive, but still utilizing both Kinect and a controller. I think that Crytek had an ambitious plan in mind for the game but because of all the changes, I doubt it will be as good ...
The GTA games have certainly had me playing them for countless hours each. I still pop in the older ones from time to time and play them on my PS2. Rockstar games has done some great things with open world games and I cannot wait to see what they come up with on PS4 and XBOX One. Until then though I know that GTA V will keep me engaged for days. Luckily I get 4 days off the week it comes out. I won't be able to play it on day one but you can bet as soon as I get home the next day it will ...
Except they said back in May that party chat and in game multiplayer chat would both be using Skype to provide better connectivity. So now from their own words Skype will not work if you turn off Kinect. Really this is just another confusing message from Microsoft. Hopefully it would still work with a headset only. But who can know based on what they have said so far. I expect someone will ask that question in a few days and their will be some clarification. But they really need to work on be...
The one thing Microsoft won't do is change having to have Live Gold to use many of the features. They still keep Netflix behind Gold despite the fact you can use it just about everywhere else for no more than the subscription cost.
Also their big new feature, TV Integration, is only able to be used if you have Gold. The one thing they tout as the next big advancement in the living room and not only do you still need a cable box and be paying the cable company for it, you...
I just got done playing through this and I absolutely loved it. I have played all the other Tomb Raider games except Underworld and I must say I like the new direction. I can't wait to see what they do with the sequel on next gen platforms. It doesn't matter what system you have though because everyone should play this game.
I want a War Of The Monsters sequel.
Exactly. People want to try and give Sony shit for this while ignoring all those Burger King games Microsoft had made for the 360 a few years ago. Yeah that was a great use of resources back then seeing as how dry the exclusive picking became on the 360.
Yes right now on PS3 any of the other accounts on the same system as the user with Plus can access the games. They announced back in June that you only need one account with Plus on PS4 and every other account on that same console can play online.

They announced awhile back that one Plus account would allow every user on one console to play online. Just like now when one account has Plus every user on that system can access the free games.

You are so wrong with what you just said about Sony 1st party support.
With Microsoft just dumping money now into 1st party support for the XBOX One doesn't mean anything. And yes those studios have little to no track record. We don't even know what most of them are working on. They should have started this with the 360 and maybe then the last few years wouldn't have been so dry relying on a few franchises to carry them. They also may n...
I think with the fact that on both XBOX One and PS4 you can download a small portion of a game and play it while the rest downloads in the background may do away with any kind of preloading. Unless of course when you buy the titles it automatically starts the download just prior to midnight so it will be ready if the person wants to play it that early. I work nights so for me playing at midnight is a no go, but it would be nice for my system to download the game while I am away so I can play ...
I certainly would like to see more major titles copies be available for pre order on both XBOX One and PS4. Right now PS3 does it for a few major titles and a lot of indie and digital only titles. If they did allow more preordering of titles then I would look more into going full digital.
@ WhyHate and Belking
Microsoft has been behind Sony on the day one digital front since 2012. Sony started releasing more and more titles as day one digital on PS3 while Microsoft was content to still wait for 6 months before giving people the option to buy a retail game as digital.

Why would you buy a console to watch tv? It is just stupid to put a feature they are touting as the next big thing for the living room behind a fee. Put the multiplayer, cloud service, and otehr stuff behind the pay wall. But the entertainment stuff should be free.
Everyone keeps going on and on about Netflix. Yes it is stupid to be behind the paywall. What is even dumber though is to access TV through XBOX One you still need a cable box, you will also have to buy an extra HDMI adpater to connect the cable box to the XBOX One, and lastly you will have to pay for Live Gold to even use it. One of the big features they kept going on about in May and yet they block access to it. I guess they figured the masses would see the TV stuff and buy it without reali...
There are lots of people who do online playthroughs of single player games. Even Sony showed how someone could use this to help their friends out if they get stuck on part of a game. People could even do this to show how to find hard to find objects in games. The opportunity for this is limitless and with it being free for all makes it even better.

With the way they hold on to Netflix being behind Gold I doubt they will change this. Instead they will try to use it at Gamescom as another reason why Gold is worth the money.
Hopefully Sony can let the masses know about this feature and the other great things through a simple yet broad marketing plan to get them on board as well.
No because they can also be played on the PC. Or in the case of DCU it is also on the PS3 and PC. Anytime a game is on a console and PC it is multiplatform. It doesn't matter if it is F2P or a game you have to buy. The whole "Console Exclusive" thing is just stupid.
If Sony really does take it with the PS4 it will be because of the games. They are always slow to start but they have shown time and time again that they really do support their consoles with some of the best games of each generation.
There is nothing wrong with Saints Row. I am looking forward to Saints Row IV. I am also looking forward to GTA V as well. Both are really fun open world games. Saints Row has just gone more the other direction to get even wilder and crazier and for some they prefer that. Others like the more realistic approach that has been happening to the GTA games. Either way there is no reason why people can't play and enjoy both.
