I am seriously considering going mostly digital with the PS4. Being able to access all my games via remote play on the Vita would be a lot of fun.
This could tie into the heists missions. When setting up your escape routes with the getaway vehicle you need to make sure it has plenty of gas to make the trip.
I am glad I have the Knack bundle on pre order at Amazon. I cannot wait to play this. I am sure my kids will enjoy it as well but I do still love playing these types of games. It is always fun to be able to branch out to other genres. Also I do plan on buying more than just Knack at launch but right now I am deciding if the other games I want will be bought as a physical copy or if I will go more to digital this gen.
Well they have talked about being able to buy games and content for your PS4 from an app on your smartphone or tablets. You can currently buy content and have it ready to download to your PS3 from the PC. it would make sense that they will allow Vita users to do the same with the PS4. The remote play aspect is really making me think hard about going almost all digital with the PS4. Just something about being able to access all my games even when I am not home through my Vita that would be rea...
Ok thanks. This is really making me think about going almost fully digital with the PS4. Currently I have the Knack bundle on preorder so I will have that physical but for the other games especially at launch I am seriously considering just buying them through PSN.
I do plan on buying a Vita soon. For the games it already has but also for this feature. Now I am trying to decide if I want to buy most of my PS4 titles as digital instead of physical though. I expect that for physical titles you will have to have the disc in the system to play it via remote play. With digital though maybe you can boot your PS4 from the Vita even when you aren't home and then access any of your titles that are downloaded to the PS4.
Sony is doing the right thing by going after indies. They can and do make some very fun games. They also can make a very nice addition alongside the 1st party exclusives and the big multiplatform titles. For me I buy a games console to play games and having variety of games and genres is really the best way to go. Also make no mistake that the Sony 1st party exclusives are on the way. Sony has shown time and time again that they know how to put out top tier titles. Also I am glad they didn...
Sucker Punch looks like they are doing an excellent job on the PS4 with what I have seen of inFamous Second Son as well.
Agreed. I will be buying this on day one as well. I have been a fan of the R&C games since the 1st one on PS2. That was the game that got me back into platformers. After I played it I went out and bought Jak and Daxter and Sly Cooper. I haven't looked back since and still enjoy playing these type of games.
More like making games that will require Move and the camera can get people to buy those to be able to play the game. Also i see some bundles in the future with the new camera, Move controllers, and the game. I doubt that MM would change the development just because the camera isn't included. There are enough people into LBP that will be looking very closely at anything MM puts out and most likely will buy into what they put out. I know I want to see more about this title. I already have ...
I had totally forgotten about this. But making games like this that would require the new camera and the move controllers can sell that stuff if done right. Also they do talk about being able to create your own levels, gameplay, and stories. If this truly is what they are working on then consider me really impressed and I cannot wait to hear more about it.
Well since Titanfall doesn't come out until next year I don't really see it making that much of a dent in the current standing of PS4. In fact by the time Titanfall comes out we will know quite a bit more about Sony Exclusive titles and see how some multiplatform titles perform on both. I for one am looking forward to Destiny more than I am Titanfall and that also isn't coming out until next year.
I am pretty happy that the PS4 will now also have Twitch. Gives people a choice of which streaming service they want to go with. Imagine if we could broadcast to both at the same time though. Now that would be awesome.
I have to go with the PS4. With everything they have said so far they are firmly planted on getting great games out. The launch lineup may not look that good to some but I have always appreciated how they put out all kinds of games. That is also why it is so great seeing so many indie titles. There should truly be something for everyone on there. also the 1st party big games will come and they will most likely do very well and be a lot of fun. Sony 1st party certainly has shown time and time ...
They have already announced one and their will definitely be more new IPs to follow. The one I speak of is The Order 1886. I for one expect great things from it and I cannot wait to play it.
This is why it was smart for them to ask developers what they wanted while they were developing the PS4. They learned their lesson with the PS3 and definitely turned things around. I cannot wait to see what all the devs do as the PS4 goes on.
@ ziggurcat
Yes it was initially announced in 2011 as Codename Kingdoms and was going to be a Kinect title. Then in 2012 they changed it to a Kinect/controller hybrid and announced the actual title as Ryse. Then this past May they changed the title to Ryse: Son Of Rome and announced it would now be an XBOX One exclusive using the controller with Kinect for voice commands.
Also it is supposed to be a launch title for the XBOX One in Nov. There really isn't a lot of time left unless they delay this game. Knowing Microsoft it won't be delayed though. Already bad enough that they took it away from the 360 as an exclusive just so they can try to make the XBOX One launch look a little better. Granted launch titles will always be out done later in the console life by other games as devs learn the system better. But you also want to develop a game solely on th...

That is also the issue. You have to subscribe to a particular cable company to use those features. Sony is working to bring the content directly to the PS4 and other devices they make without needing a cable subscription. Granted you will most likely have to pay for the content but then you can choose what you want instead of paying for a whole lot of things you may not even watch.
I too have sometimes wished that the cops were programmed to look out for that kind of stuff. We get the random drivers in GTA IV sometimes just busting through traffic and nothing happens. Also I get tired of trying to keep a car in good order by going with traffic instead of just driving through it and then get honked at by other cars at a red light. Their could be some extra consequences to getting in trouble with the cops in the game. If you do a lot of little things the cops start to kno...
